What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I bought myself a bottle of some really difficult to find bourbon. Looks good with my EDC for the day.

I got a delivery this afternoon. A recruit in black, haven't seen black in this model too often. Straight in the pocket.

It's certainly a nice change from the red.
I've been thinking about getting mine rescaled in something besides the basic red, but then I figure I'd be all heartbroken if I lost it lol

I think we all love the chase but when one comes to fruition after 9 years it's a really good feeling. Made possible by a fellow friend here on the porch, thanks Justin!!! a Smooth Ivory Bone Eureka :) paired today with my Conductor.

Very cool knife, Paul. Glad you could make it happen. 👍
Another beauty, Todd. I love the fluted bolsters on those.

Amazing that a picture from taken in Slovenia can remind me so much of where I grew up in Virginia, USA.View attachment 2015585View from my Dads side deck of part of Big Moccasin valley.View attachment 2015586
This fire tower is 6 miles from his house, overlooking Moccasin Valley.

This is a drone photo of a fire tower on the mountain where I grew up. It is a different one from the previous photo. They're about 30 miles/48km apart. View attachment 2015578
Knife content, just so I'm not completely derailing the thread 😳👍
Edit to give credit to the photographer of the towers, Brad Deel photography

Beatiful country and awesome knives! It's the rolling hills and abubdance of woodland, I reckon. :D I'm not sure I'd dare climb that watchtower though ...😅

Just finished cleaning up a Robeson Sure-edge pearl sleeveboard Lobster with antique brass shield that came to me with it's original brown leather pouch (which I forgot about until this morning) with red stitching and a brass snap. It's from the 1920's or 1930's, along with the Lion of Lucerne ..... my research indicates Solingen made between 1898-1924. I'll add the big Northfield Allegheny in Sambar Stag to my horizontal belt sheath, just in case I run into some bad actors, like Mr. Jack ran into in Leeds last Thursday. ;) 😊

The Lion of Lucerne Pen knives were also made for the Omega Watch Company, but, this one doesn't have the Omega Logo on the tang, which many of them didn't. Incredible small details in this small knife. The apple on William Tell's son's head is the center pin. The Swiss Alps in the background and even windows can be seen in the tiny village buildings.
