A pair of cattle knives as per usual.

I went to the doc today and they pulled my bandage and stitches and did the first post surgery x rays. No more sling but light duty use only with my arm for now. Sadly, a magnet will not stick to my plate.

Not even a strong magnet? Damn, that's disappointing!
Get well soon!

I carried my ancient barlow today.

Nice work Bob. You are a man of many talents 😎.
I'm probably not going to carry the LT today, but it just came in the mail to I wanted to at least get a pic of it. I managed to land it on the LTWK Christmas vault show they did on YouTube this past Saturday.

Thanks Jon...cannot have idle hands in retirement, plus I have lots of time to mess up and try again.
My wife wants me to take up skydiving and volunteered to pack the chute.🤔🤔

Good God, what happened!??!?!? I busted my collar bone when I was 12 but not quite like this.

What do they do about the tips of the screws protruding out of the bone?

I hope you are doing alright, Buddy!

(I'm also carrying the same red GEC 35, today).

Cindy lucked out at the dentist yesterday. Turns out she only had to have a filling redone - no root canal !!!! We came home and I had a meatloaf sandwich. Without our kids and grand kids around this Christmas we're not decorating except for this ceramic tree that my mother made back in the 1970s at her Ladies Auxiliary Church Social.

Glad things worked out for your bride at the dentist. Hate your children and grandchildren will not be around this Christmas. That tree is awesome.
Christmas comes from the heart. Decorations are icing on the proverbial cake.
Such a true statement.

I hope it looks worse than it is. Sounds like it is healing properly.

Just finished cleaning up a Robeson Sure-edge pearl sleeveboard Lobster with antique brass shield that came to me with it's original brown leather pouch (which I forgot about until this morning) with red stitching and a brass snap. It's from the 1920's or 1930's, along with the Lion of Lucerne ..... my research indicates Solingen made between 1898-1924. I'll add the big Northfield Allegheny in Sambar Stag to my horizontal belt sheath, just in case I run into some bad actors, like Mr. Jack ran into in Leeds last Thursday. ;) 😊

The Lion of Lucerne Pen knives were also made for the Omega Watch Company, but, this one doesn't have the Omega Logo on the tang, which many of them didn't. Incredible small details in this small knife. The apple on William Tell's son's head is the center pin. The Swiss Alps in the background and even windows can be seen in the tiny village buildings.

Just fantastic! What a nice trio for the day. Thanks for the guided tour of The Lion of Lucerne - the detail is really something. And, love the stag covers on the Allegheny!
