With my membership level, I'm not allowed to ask about knife values. But I didn't see anything about asking about Winter Hiker values, Heh-Heh. Every time I see that little fella, I like him more. Do you sell your carvings?Maybe I should make Winter Hiker like the roaming gnome and bring him with me for knife pictures everywhere I go.

I had my Zippo with me at the market the other day Harry, sometimes come across vintage models down there tooI do the same, except with a Wenger Esquire. I have a backup key ring with a car and house key, along with the Wenger always in my pocket. Not only will I never accidentally lock myself out, but the lil Wenger keeps my nails guitar ready, and it’s scissors take care of those errant hairs that pop up in strange places.
Ice fishing is fun. You’re never too old for fun, my friend. It helps if you have one of these…View attachment 2018373

I think in some ways we are missing something by having our many knives. Here of late I have pondered getting do to one or two knives, excluding gifted ones of course. There is a lot to be said for that approach.Well, it is a pocket knife.
And a handsome one it is.
I love the look (and feel) of well worn leather. One of life’s little pleasures.
I wavered over my knives this morning. I was tempted to keep on with the same pair, but just too many old friends and favorites in my cigar boxes…
I often wonder if I’m missing something in not having just one good knife, like Grandpa and his faithful Camillus, or the nurseryman I worked for who carried nothing but his extremely sharpening worn Schrade Stockman. They would shake their heads at us and our many knives.
We are materially blessed.
Same rocks, more snow, and different knives.View attachment 2017848View attachment 2017849
Have a fine day!
Beautiful neighborhood sir. Bet it is just as beautiful when covered in white. Provided the view is from a warm, comfortable chair with a cup of hot coffeeCarrying this Scout Trapper today. A gift from John @JohnDF , it's a good knife to have handy in my neighborhood.

Sausage and eggs for breakfast.
When I was young I had a Jon-e hand warmer. I was never able to get it to work properly.I do the same, except with a Wenger Esquire. I have a backup key ring with a car and house key, along with the Wenger always in my pocket. Not only will I never accidentally lock myself out, but the lil Wenger keeps my nails guitar ready, and it’s scissors take care of those errant hairs that pop up in strange places.
