Finally got up into the low 30s this afternoon. I went out for a walk and carried this Blackthorn Stick that Mrs. Crappie gave me for Christmas. Had this Ancient Barlow with me too.

Pretty unique gift ..... I reckon she knows you pretty well. Nice TC too !

Greatly enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with my crew. My wife gave me the Muskrat. She loves candy and sweet tea…perfectly symbolized by the acrylic…and the corset shield is a great touch for a gift from the wife.

I loved these little gifts from my girls as well.

I might think about huntin' me a wife if they gives knives like that !
I didn't know they made that knife without the Rough Ryder style nail nick. I might need to check them out again.

I'd like to say you are blessed by an obviously adoring family Jon. I have 4 daughters, all adults now, but man they can still melt your heart when they show love and appreciation for Dad.

Thanks, Mr Primble. The 74 is one of those knives that a fella can love to own. I have 3 but this one is the go to because the pull and blade action is right in my sweet spot. Handle shape and drop point make it a comfortable user too.

The two Tideoute offerings came without eyelashes - Micarta and acrylic. This acrylic spoke to me so I put it on my list. And yes…a wife like mine makes the whole concept quite appealing .

The deep freeze is over here, 26 degrees this morning so I thought I’d light up a cigar and use my new bourbon and cigar board. It’s made from a barrel stave, and my daughter picked it up when she was on the bourbon trail a few weeks ago.
