Had a very nice Christmas Day together with just my wife and daughter. Exchanged a few modest and practical gifts, and just appreciated The Gift.
Then, a bunch of us celebrated Christmas with Mom ‘n Dad at their house yesterday. Very nice to see my nephew’s two boys, two and almost one, as well as my other nephew who recently got out of the USMC and is completing his schooling for becoming an EMT (top of his class!),and his girlfriend.
Now, there are things we can control, and things we cannot. Like when Spark sends my Rabbit Knife. But I digress…
One thing that’s entirely out of our control is the Family Planning/or lack thereof exercised by our parents. Not only can we not choose our siblings, or if we even have them, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER OUR BIRTHDATE. So, as a public service announcement, please remember your brethren who’s birth anniversary happens to fall near the birth anniversary of that wonderful kid from Nazareth. Don’t let it fall through the cracks! And DO NOT DO THIS!~
Here are the cards that my wife(11/24), and I (12/27) received from my sister yesterday~

Sorry for writing a novella here, but that’s what old men do. You’ll be lucky if I forget and tell it all over again tomorrow.

And again, these companions will serve me well today~ SW 294 and CBK.
