Yesterday we found out that the jigged bone is great for aTeething Device .

Harry, this post probably belongs over in the “Multi-tools and multi purpose knives” sub forum🤣🤣

Awesome pic Harry!
I gave my 6 year old grandson his first knife yesterday, an Official Cub Scout Knife (he is a cub scout). Under microscopic adult supervision, he still managed to cut his finger. So the knife went into his dad's pocket for the immediate future! He learned a valuable lesson, a little early I think. At least it wasn't a bad cut.
Lessons learned at an early aged are sometimes too soon forgotten . I did not give any of my Grandsons a knife until they were teen-agers . Since then , I have given each of them a Stag handled knife . Now half of my Great Grandsons have been gifted a knife , but not the little guy shown .

I got my cub scout knife at 7, back in 1957. I guess I started early.
I'm sure my son and DIL will put it aside for him. That's the plan anyway.

Totin’ Dowells in both pockets today.

Harry, Old Engineer Old Engineer , what a beautiful photograph with your great grandson! I know which knife you will gift him. He has already left his mark on that Lambsfoot and shown that he has great taste in knives, both literally and figuratively.
You know , you are right because I did tell everyone around the table that some day that knife is to be his . There will be plenty to go around , but that one is to go to him . I did assure his mother that my knives only get oiled with food good mineral oil too .
That is a great pair today my friend .

Well shoot...every time I cut myself it's under adult supervision 😬

That Catt is so rich in character. 👌
There are so many exceptional knives shown on this site but that Catt whittler may be the most handsome knife seen by my eyes.:thumbsup:
Something about a sleeveboard pattern always appeals to me. Toss in great character bone with nice color, that shield and the blades
and you got a stunner. :)

One of my favorite knives and pleased to see others take to her.  😍 It is still a solid knife too. ;) 😊

At first I thought you'd taken your Bunny Knife out to get a tattoo! 😲
But I guess you're still just contemplating at this point.

Not gonna happen GT. After careful thought, I decided I like Peter Rabbit just the way he is now.🤣

Merry Mammoth Monday!

I hate to say this Jim, but, I see a critter or two in your mammoth !😍

A few memorable cuts and he'll remember what not to touch. He's still a little young for it, I reckon. Seems I was totin' that Case stockman by the time I was eight. 😊

Big bear charging beside the 3rd handle pin.🤣

I did get to sit back and say "ahh" for a short spell.
Hope you enjoyed a merry Christmas.
Even a short spell works. I did, as I hope you did as well.

I said I’d carry it until my Rabbit Knife came in, so…
And since I already loved it, I didn’t expect any problems with that.
So far, so good!
Have a marvelous Monday.
Nice looking 294.
Merry Mammoth Monday!

That is a beautiful knife. It goes into the "fancy", bar-b-que category
Needed some help with an Antelope roast so I grabbed my Blade forums Buck for the task.
