What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Valid point, Mike! 🤓 😁

Rob, I'm certainly not going to object to ANY decisions you make about maximizing the visual appeal of pocket knives! o_O:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The big bear you mention seems like quite a stretch to me. I wonder if your "critter spotting" is getting out of control, and maybe we should try to get you some professional help. 😲;)

Thanks for the kind words, Greg. :)

Thanks for the confirmation, Will.:cool::thumbsup: I grew up on a dairy farm, and the gutters behind the cows in their stanchions in the barn typically carried materials less appealing than rainwater!
You can certainly turn a phrase! 🤓🤓

Bart, congrats to you and all the other BF members recently receiving their BF Bunny Knives!:cool::thumbsup:

Notable pair, Bob; outstanding grain on that M. May lambsfoot!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Glad you and yours had an enjoyable Christmas celebration, Jeff.:cool::thumbsup:
Belated birthday greetings to you! I can certainly appreciate your public service announcement, having been born on Dec. 19. The past couple years, my daughter has been able to be home before Christmas, but not on Christmas, so we've had "Christmas dinner" and family gift exchange on/near my birthday. That made it VERY challenging for me to keep straight b-day and Christmas gifts (and cards, to some extent).
My wife had to call her urologist yesterday about a prescription, so I showed her your wife's birthday card. She had a hard time keeping a straight face as she "dialed" (am I the only one who still uses this word for making phone calls?) the number! 😁😁

You were right, Todd; they look great together!:cool::thumbsup:

You really ARE a cat lover!!:cool::cool:

:thumbsup::cool: This seems like a pretty special place.

Thanks for the climate info, LT, and for posting the grand canoe photos "for me"!:thumbsup::cool:
Is your Case canoe chestnut jigged bone? I have a 1975 model that's redbone, I think.

Remember that The Porch is a family-friendly site, Mike, and we try to minimize gratuitous violence!

You're welcome. I don't have a lot of childhood things, but I sure am glad to have the ones I do have, including my first knife from about 1960:

Are these "real time" photos? If so, what are you doing out in cafés and on the beach at 3am? Practicing for New Year's Eve? ;):thumbsup:

Handsome knife, Alan! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Does that mean your Bunny Knife arrived?:cool::thumbsup:

What a fantastic family heirloom!:cool::cool:

I tend to think of that knife as perfect in almost every way!:thumbsup::cool:

Happy belated B’Day, amigo!

LOL! :D THanks for the info, it looks like a really useful design  :)

Impressive line-up Jer :)

Thanks a lot Gary, I'm glad you made it through that storm my friend :)

Smashing pairing :)

Considering how little sun I see, I have always tanned quite well Jeff, but I always tell folks I'm Scottish from the waist down - I never wore shorts, even when I lived in the Middle East! :D

As a part Scot, I might say from the waist down is the best part!🤭

Gettin' some painting done today and the SAK comes in handy.

Looks like that beauty hopped in your pocket and won’t get out :)
Still waiting on mine 😬
I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably say it again. I’m really enjoying it, and I’m not saying that for any porch/forum clout, or to make folks like you who haven’t gotten theirs yet more anxious.

Frankly, I probably would have overlooked it all together if it wasn’t the forum knife. The pattern didn’t really excite me when it was announced, other than the fact it was the forum knife and I wanted to participate, but I am glad I got it. To my surprise, I like pretty much everything about it … well, except that etch, but I fixed that… personally, I like that it’s not so fancy, ornate, or too large that I don’t want to carry it. It’s just a good, all around traditional knife in my opinion.
