Yes. The Well Organized Man. 👌
Sorry your singing partner has medical issues that caused her to have to stop writing and singing.

Nice pairing.

Things certainly change over time. What one day was top priority is barely a blip on the radar later in life.
Next session you should record and share here.
Thank you.
I don’t record much, for which you should be thankful🥴.
Although I walked away from a three quarters completed CD at a small studio when I left that church.
I ordered it by phone back before the internet was born.
Wow! That is SOME slow shipping!

Maybe should have used Touch Tone®️ instead of rotary dialing.

Thanks Jack :)

Back in the nineties Mack's Creek was notorious as a speed trap. I used to do a lot of work in Nevada* and passed through there regularly. We were always very careful to slow down to the posted 45mph.

*Nevada, Missouri is pronounced, Ne-vay-da with a long "A" in the middle. If you pronounce it like the state, everybody will know you're a foreigner :D

Yep. And just like Versailles. Vur-sales.

If you passed Mack’s Creek, you passed near where we lived. Tiny crossroad on Old 54 called Roach.

Well, I hope your BF Bunny arrives soon, Jeff.

Oh, it’ll come when it comes. I don’t care enough to worry about it. It’s not like I don’t have anything else that can cut stuff😆

Now, seeing those Lambsfeet, I’m thinking your canoes are getting worried!

Many thanks JJ, posted some pics in the Guardians thread :) Hope you had a very Happy Christmas :)
Thanks Jack; I did see your postings on the Guardians thread, it looks like a beautiful island!
Magnificent matching pair my friend :)
Thank you very kindly, my friend!!! :)
Hartshead Barlow and an Old Friend for me today :)

Your pair of stag covered Friday slicers look gorgeous together; those are a fine couple of tasty treats, as well!😋👍👍

IMHO, the top knife is sublime!
(IMHO, the bottom one, not so much. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic example of a Buck 110, but it's so heavy!)
Thanks a lot, Gary!!! The Buck is a tad heavy, though it's bomb proof, too! :)

A red bone commemorative lock-back knife from the early 1980's getting some pocket time today. Seems it was a joint venture between two or three companies. 3.25 inches closed. 😊

What a gorgeous lock back !!! ... and couldn't have found a better home. NICE
The bolster stamp SW [HEAD] 0 indicates the knife is a 1980 release ... and still looks brand spanking new 😲
As far as I know, they were only released as such in 1980 and 1981
I have a Schrade Wostenholm Canoe released in 1980 (has same bolster stamp as yours)

Nice to see you have a Bunny knife. 🤠
Thanks, John. They turned out nice.
Good Morning Porch Friends
I've missed a ton of pages and no sense even trying to catch up... So, I'll start back right here.

Nice pair, John and great to see you back again 👍
What a cool camp. Maybe you should jump in there Bart. 😄👍
Haha! Not a chance. That ramp is 8 or 10 feet high. I get scared just watching 😁
What a champ! That looks like so much fun. Very cool 😎
Thanks, Jon. He had a blast.
I won’t have all three of these in my pocket at the same time but they will all get pocket time today. View attachment 2030378

Have a great day everyone. 😎👍
Nice selection of traveling’ knives, Todd. Looks like a good time. That’s the darkest glass of Budweiser I’ve ever seen. Looks tasty👍

I went out into the garden to photograph this class act.

It was 12C and wet so much like an English summer then 😁

Good things come to those who wait, I waited for this one I can wait some more 😇

Interesting piece of cutlery history Mr P :) I knew at least 2 cutlers who were involved in the project, including a former brother-in-law. Camillus made many of the parts, and they were shipped over to the old Richards factory in Sheffield, by Imperial-Schrade, who had recently bought the firm, made up into knives, and shipped back to the USA, with considerable secrecy in Sheffield. My dad used to have that particular model, but with stag covers, while I had the larger lock-back. Ours had plain bolsters

Welcome back, Jack! I hope your trip was a rejuvenating change of scenery. Could you find a decent pint in the Canaries?
Thanks Gary :) Not really, I'm afraid, but the views helped ;)

Great minds think alike I see.
Just front porch sittin, watching the birds, listening to the rain. 56 degrees this morning and a week ago today it was 8.

Happy New Year Everyone.
