Looks to be developing a nice patina, Paul. Looks like your really enjoying that old....I mean new, beauty. It sure does have the flavor of 'Old'.

Recognize the Harness Jack, but no punch? Yup, GEC ran out of punch blades and Charlie told me Bill asked if he could finish the one remaining knife with a cap lifter blade. It's a great little knife and very special to me!

I missed out on the BF version, but got this one at the 2012 OKCA Show in Oregon. Thanks Charlie!!!

Thanks Gev, she's earning her Patina. You're right---I really do enjoy this knife. It just works so well for me.

How neat, a real one of a kind knife.

Very cool! I really like that the knife was built that way, instead of retrofitted with the caplifter (if that would even have been possible...?). Thanks for the explanation-- that was a puzzler, for sure.

I do believe the lack of a punch renders the blade etch a misnomer, however. However much patina this knife has gained since the picture above, I'm betting you need more still to cover your tracks. ;)

-- Nice job posting the picture.

Hi everyone, it's my first post here. I hope I don't post in the wrong place.

It was a khu-kabar or khukri with ka-bar styled handle from KHT. I have my friend replaced its handle few days ago and just delivered today.

I'm so happy with the result and my new homework is making proper khukri sheath, replacing its original sheat made from cordura.

Welcome! That's a great looking handle job. I'd be carrying that one too!

Between the stag and the Damascus, that knife is a jaw-droppping, mind-blowing piece of work.
