What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Humble Queen today :)

Totally been looking for one of these! Had a chance to buy one of the bay, around 40 dollars though, couldn't drop that much at the time, maybe I'll look again.

And today this triplet, with the Opinel #8 Inox and Case stag peanut:

Good luck in finding one of those Queen Utility's Recon, useful little knife.

Today, I'm carrying my 66 and the sweet little Squirrel that ScruffUK gave me the other day :)

Thank you Barry and Smithhammer, Joel's fit and finish is impressive.

Been a bit since I carried this Jerry Halfrich Rounder, Damasteel blade, and integral liner and bolster, with nice stag.

Kris

Taking my son BMX riding today (how did I get sucked into this? :D)
I don't want anything flying from my pocket so this'll be clipped to my keychain.

It's a gloomy day here in the Pacific NW, but this knife will brighten it up some!
It's a GEC 48 stainless w/ fossil elephant covers and file worked spring and tang.

The Moose is always with me, but the Queen just showed up a couple day's ago. I am super pleased with the quality of this knife and would highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of budget. It is the nicest Queen product I've owned.

I was inspired by Kris to put this Halfrich Small Rounder in my pocket today. Although I must admit I wouldn't mind if it was that Damascus and Stag beauty he's sporting!

My first post, howdy all:)

I don't have a camera so no pic from me. I really need to rectify that. Anyways, today it's a Blind Horse Knives Frontier Valley Patch on my belt, FFG, green canvas micarta. Nice little knife good for small tasks and more than capable of most big tasks, and it's my ideal size for a small(ish) EDC fixed. Looking to order the Frontier First for something a bit smaller but the full four finger grip of the Valley is my preference. In my pocket I'm totin' a Tidioute #15 clip and pen blade, ebony wood handles. My first slipjoint (of many more hopefully), fantastic little knife, I don't name tools usually but this one I refer to as my Holdout Special as I can use it on the sly at work (knives are frowned on usually, and the issued box cutters literally have a half centimetre of blade that is barely useful for anything).

Y'know, I've often joked about how awkward it would be here without the ability to post pictures, ie, "Imagine sitting around trying to describe knives to each other...?!"

But here, you've just done a great job of exactly that. It helps that I've seen the knives you've referenced before, but a tremendous job all the same. Your post made me smile.

Thanks!

Glad I could put a smile on your face Pertinux, and thanks for the welcome. I've been a knifeknut for only about a year or two, and a lurker for the same (too lazy to post and nothing to contribute I guess:) ) and I know no knife people in real life, although my brother is a tool man and appreciates the use of a knife, so it's good to have a knife community to share the hobby/way of life with. If you could see the knives Home Depot issues you'd have a heart attack. I see the usefulness of boxcutters but these are absurd. A good traditional slipjoint is indespensible:)
