• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey Jeff, just saw your question. The Schatt gunstock is 3 5/8", just about my favorite size.

I surely love your Conductor whittler, the acrylic they've used this time around is terrific! The Barlow is sweet too, definitely a forum favorite

I was away for the weekend with my sweetie on her birthday to the Lancaster area. Managed to find a brick and mortar knife store that was very dangerous, barely got out of there with money left in my wallet :D

Carrying two great knives from two great guys today. A 1970 Case Stockman, given to me by Gevonovich, and my Chef's Special, made and given to me by Sitflyer. Thanks guys :)

This lovely little Queen straight jack seems to glow with warmth. Perfect for a bleak, snowy spring day here in eastern Idaho:

The Friedrich Hartkopf Lockback with ebony covers was with me today... I gonna make a long-time-thread of this knife. The F&F is just perfect and the slim profile makes it perfect for pocket carry.

This little Mercator slipjoint that Jon (klineh) gifted me.

Apple slicing duty today and helped me make a daisy chain for my daughter.

Just starting to patinate.
Extremely pocket friendly.

:thumbs up:

Owen, those Mercators are nice knives, aren´t they? I really like these little simple working horses... :)

It is ruthlessly utilitarian. I can't think of how I'd improve it. There's not an ounce of fat on it.

Dad's old trapper for today. Strongest springs of any knife I own, strangely. Also has an interesting blade combo- both were CV when he bought it maybe 20 years ago, and the clip had a crack in it. I sent it back to Case to repair the crack, and when it came back, the main blade was tru-sharp! So now it's got a stainless main and a CV spey. I kinda like it, truth be told.
