What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Those peppers look tasty. Information I found has them below a habanero and jalapeno. Closer to habanero. What is your take on them?
First time I've grown them, fully ripe more like a habanero, a nice flavour with a bit of bite. I tried them as a habanero substitute & will grow them again. I can see some chilli cheeseburgers in the near future😁

Lots of really beautiful knives.

Sure would be informative to include details about what is posted for those of us, like me, that do not know all of these.

Easily my favorite thread on the net. 😊👍
I easily spent a year plus just perusing the traditional threads learning before I started seriously posting. Asked a few dumb questions along the way (still do) but was always met with kind and knowledgeable responses. It’s great to see you here!

Thank you, sff.

Really enjoying everyone and going back to memories of my first pocket knife as a boy long ago. Carried it every day including to school as did most other boys from grade school on.

Was taking my youngest nephew hunting several weeks back.

He was looking over my various hunting knives and an old Kabar large hunting folder grabbed his interest. It belonged to my wife’s grandfather. He asked if he could have it, but she was not ready to let it go.

So, I started looking for one online for him.

The search for him rekindled my own interest in the knives I grew up with and admired, but mostly were out of reach.

Seeing some of the work being turned out today, these are the good old days.

Glad to be here and enjoying seeing these beautiful knives and the good company.

I gave him this small Kabar and found this large Kabar folder for him, just like the one he admired.

He “totes” the small Kabar 1186 after school. So this counts as his post in the what are you totin’ discussion.

We’ll give the big one to him when he goes hunting with me next fall.

The knife is nice but your Scrimshaw is awesome.

Very relaxing fire.
Knives are good looking too

Same knives, but after touching up the edges, and a drop or two of Norton’s, I came up with a radical new idea.
I put the Wenger in my right pocket with the Forum Knife. View attachment 2059622And the #10 Opinel in my left pocket.View attachment 2059623
We’ll see how it works out. 🙄
Good looking knife trio.

And this is how we keep it alive. Well done, and love the Kabars.

Hello Bart! Thank you and they love to be seen 😁 Your new Boker Barlow is giving me copper lust, and your cows make me want a steak 😋
It’s my first copper knife. I like it 👍
I really like those copper Boker Barlows, but, I really wish they had thought to include a swedge on the blade.😊
I totally agree, I think it would look great with a swedge. I’ve thought about trying to add one but I don’t want to risk messing it up.
That pocketeze is super cool 👍
Nice knife Bart Sacto Sacto . Watched the news coverage of the Bull and Gelding Show last night and wondered if you got up to Red Bluff for the show.
Thanks, Ed. I’ve been raising cattle around Sacramento for 21 years and I’ve actually never been to the Red Bluff bull sale. I’ve heard it’s a really good time. We buy our bulls closer to home in the fall. I’d love to get up there some time to see the stock dogs sell.
Case of the Week is a jigged chestnut CV Swayback Jack (thanks, Paul):

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade of the Week is an Imperial Kamp-King I bought at an antique store the weekend before COVID shut down my state in March 2020:
