What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wasted the whole morning dealing with my computer clown  But at least I had a couple of special knives to fondle :) Just having some cheese on toast

There was just enough lack of focus on my part that I thought you were having a baked sweet potato. Since I like that with a sunny side up egg on top for my breakfast sometimes, we’ll chalk it up to projection.

So what’s more of a pain in the butt ~ beating a new computer into submission, or cajoling an old one into acting like it used to? Let’s ask Jack!
I did the arithmetic. I'm not four pages behind in this thread, I'm thirty four pages behind. I'm going to trust the recording angels with what I've missed.

Just say “ I looked at all of your knives, and like all/some/none of them”. Then you’ll be all caught up.

It doesn't get much simpler than this, unless you're prepared to choose between the straight and the curved.

There's still the long and the short, though, and a lot to be said for the stockman pattern.
It wasn't so simple to snake High Spade out of my secret knife drawer. It's gotten crowded in there.

Great collection Jer. Where do you buy those secret drawers?😀

Thank you, Bob.
Sincerely hope things go well for your wife's recovery as she arrives home.

Feeling old timey today. Ulster whittler and Camillus Navy jack.

Very nice photos of some great old cutlery Greg .
Just a coincidence but we were Antiquing yesterday and I saw a Whittler just like your's but could not read the brand of it . Problem was that someone had broken one of the small blades .
The Badger Blade show is March 24 - 26 . Would be nice to see you and Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund and maybe some other guys .

Thanks, Harry.
I think I'll be able to make it to the Blade Show this year and would love to meet up with you, Jeff and others. I'll note the date and be in touch regarding a rendezvous.
I'm looking forward to it. :)

LOL! :D I am sometimes amazed at what I see when I swap from my phone to a full-sized screen! 🤣

I seem to have got the worst of both worlds Jeff! o_O Paid for a new one, got a piece of junk that I have to beat into submission! 😖 I spent the whole morning waiting for the guy to repair the computer he sold me, as new, last week, and while it now works, it makes more racket than my chest did carrying the darn thing back home again! 😤

Thanks. This is a little chest of drawers with a top that flips up to reveal a compartment for sewing stuff. It's a bit of a giveaway when a thread gets hung up on your knuckle and dragged out of the compartment.

Yesterday's Sunday best. G'mawnin to all on the porch 👋

Rufus1949 Rufus1949 I can see why you bought it - what a knife she was, so good that someone couldn't stop using her! Now you have a nice pruner? PM me for my therapist's #, although we haven't discussed knives yet so I can't tell you how that'll go 🤪 Hope your wife is home soon Bob, it's truly the best medicine.
