You have both a super cool pair of knives to fondle and some very tasty eats! Computers, you can't live without em, and you can't shoot em!😋;)👍👍

This is a Re-Post of the knife I posted earlier today just so I can put up a few pictures of some of the Snow Scuplure contest held in Lake Geneva this past week end . There were many more than these and we drove past them this morning .

Without seeing any Pile Side and Top Down photos , I think you may have a pretty nice knife . Depending on the price , I guess that I would have bid on it . It looks like Stag , it has the metal end cap , and it looks like it just may have Integral Bolsters . That may very well have been made in the 1890's . Somebody loved and used it a lot . If it is still reasonably tight , I would sharpen it and use it .

William IV reigned 1830 to 1837 👍
Thank you Harry for your input. VERY cheap to buy....no bidding.
Surprisingly, this knife still has good snap to it. The only negative is some play when open. As far as the coat, seller listed as stag.
I will definitely enjoy it for what it is.View attachment 2072986
Those are integral bolsters 👍
Looks like Integral Bolsters to me . I believe they stopped making them in the early 1890's . Maybe somebody can give you good advice on snugging the play up a little . Carry it in good health my friend .
Sorting out the play wouldn't be hard, but on a knife that old, arguably, it might be better left alone 👍

What was the tell tale sign on dating it to William IV ???? Inquiring minds need to know . Was it the W R ?
Edited to add : Rufus1949 Rufus1949 looks like you have a very old Pruner my friend

Many thanks JJ 🤣🙂👍
Today's totes were both metal, one Swiss and the other (c/o Jack Black Jack Black ) from Sheffield. :)
That's a cool-looking Swiss slicer JJ 😎 Nice pairing my friend 🙂👍

Cool pics Harry 😎 Did you see The Car On The Ice on your travels? 😉👍

Thanks, Jeff.
Getting to know you fellas in person over a selection of one of Cracker Barrels southern breakfast plates sounds great. I'll check with the one who keeps our social calendar,
(wife), to clear that day. :)
Cracker Barrel is my favorite. Where are you dudes meeting up?!?!?!
