According to USPS tracking mine is out for delivery. I ordered it Sunday night, and Monday morning I got a USPS notice that "a label has been created, awaiting pickup." Since then, I've gotten a total of 16 more notices from USPS that it'll be delivered Friday.........so far. A couple months ago with the Bunny Knife, I got a label created notice, then nothing else until it showed up in my mailbox.Wharncliffe trapper today…and some bulls.

Great newsThanks Todd...wife is home...life is returning to normal.
A couple more from the NYKC for Friday. I don't tote these very often, but, I don't know why.
The 3.25" closed jack knife is a pleasure to carry in the watch pocket and functions as good as any new knife I own.
I might rub on the bone a bit today to get the mahogany color underneath the dark dye to show up more.

Many thanks Mr PThank you Mr. Jack and what a cool picture …… stout looking machinery !![]()
Well done Jeremy ;cool: Congratulations Paul, that's some beautiful leatherworkThis is starting to become a weekly occurance lately but I need to share with the porch a generous act from another great member.
First the knife. I am totin a BF swayback gifted to me bysbh06 . An awesome example of one of the great annual knives commisioned for the porch.
In addition to the knife. Jeremy also gifted me this beautiful handmade wallet and matching slip. For reference the symbol is the military map symbol for 81mm mortar which I was blessed to be in my time in the service. Everytime I look at these two I will remember your kind gesture and reflect a little on the great memories I had with my brothers in the Army. Thank you. This gift goes far beyond just a wallet and slip.
For the slip I have dedicated it to be used with this awesome recovered and EO modded 85. The End of the knife ressembles the tip of a mortar round and it has a wonderful bomb shield. Perfect match for this slip. I was told that the knife was recovered in culpepper jigged bone. If anyone could elaborate on what that is I would greatly appreciate it.
Jeremy has been a great friend and a great guy. I truly appreciate it. I am looking forward to our continued friendship.
I apologize for the long winded post but things like this must be recognized.

Nice fiddling.Ah, found it. Thanks. And please accept my sincere condolences, Ryan.
Time heals. Trust me on that. You’ll never forget, but at some point, your thoughts will focus on the good memories, and instead of grief, you’ll feel gratitude for the time you had. I’m at that point with losing my son.
And thank you for showing me that The Lounge would have been the place for me to have talked about that loss.

Totin a SW 879, and one of my rescues, a Kutmaster linesman/electrician. Previous owner had horribly sharpened the main, and “reshaped” the utility blade into a ridiculous spear point. I bought it just to fiddle around with, View attachment 2077254View attachment 2077255

Thanks, Jer. I only mentioed it in case someone might think I’d do that to a perfectly good TL-29. On the auction site, there are so many knives that have been abused, that there’s no need to play Dr. Frankenstein on a collectible knife.Nice fiddling.

Or as I usually say to the civilians...AF military police

It'll be quick!Actually, what makes someone use a grinder to sharpen a knife, anyway?
