My Tidioute 73J w/ modified spey for the rough cutting chores, and my spoiled NF 76 Outlaw Jack in case I wanna trim my nails :)

Some beautiful knives, particularly like that Lloyd.

Great to see another green bone Eureka up Smithhammer, it's a beaut!

Cody Jack at work but popped my Eureka in the pocket when I got home:)

Sorry, just now seeing this about the rotten banana bone 66.

Yep, history indeed:

lambertiana --> Doug Add --> Pjake --> TLARbb

lambertiana --> Doug Add --> Pjake --> TLARbb --> Simple Man??? :D

I haven't met a #66 I didn't like, and the Jack is as good as they come, nice one TL

And here is mine again, so it is not a totally wasted post.

You say that like I didn't swoon the very first time I saw that Lloyd, in this thread.

To whit:

Was I talking about you?! :D That is such a great thread! :)

Glad to see you had a great time fishing Pete, Perch are lovely fish :)

Glad you back Doug!!! not the same with you not around!!! Never tire of looking at that knife my friend---NEVER.

Ditto

Duane,
I had never noticed this knife before, and I really like the pattern. I had never seen an equal end jack with a sheepsfoot secondary. What's the closed length of this knife? and its pattern number?
As for me, I was carrying my Case Peanut today, gift of a gentleman of this forum:

I keep coming back to this D2 Queen stockman. When you finally get these babies sharpened the way you want to, they become the Energizer Bunny of blades . . . they just keep cutting and cutting and cutting . . . ;)

Fausto, I believe the pattern is called a Cattleman, I may stand corrected on that though...it is a stockman variant.

It is stamped simply, Imperial, Prov RI

Yeah, it looks like that rotten banana 66 has gotten around.

Doug, always good to see your grandfather's schrade walden. Those bone scales sure turned out nicely.

Indeed, and I could not be more pleased!

When I got home and out of my suit this evening I put something a little larger in my jeans pocket. A nod of sorts to the well traveled rotten banana bone 66, my marigold bone Colonial.

And one from when I still had them both:
