What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Love the duo Bob and love the mug! My boy Sam had to do a presentation on Leif Ericsson and dress up. Mama got him a plastic war axe to go with it. It hurt my dad pride so I had to whip up an axe that would represent! It turned out more Leif the lumberjack, but it was fun and it helped him channel his Valhalla chops!

Have a great day my friend.

I was peering into the knife box this morning, trying to decide and having some trouble, and then...Eureka! Sorry...

Wow, great acting prop, your son had to be proud.
I raced on a 50 foot sloop named Valhalla for 10 years.( owned by a Norwegian).
You have a good one too, Jon.

Well done!
A platic axe to play with (and break), and a nice wood axe that Dad made!👌

Going solo today with my John Primble India Steel Works bare-head jack. It's stout enough to get most jobs done. I would guess this one was made between 1890-1929. All hammered pins, steel bolsters, and a saber-cut main, half stops, 3.4 inches closed, or a tad smaller than the Bunny knives. No doubt in my mind that this one was made by NYKC for Belknap Hardware and was furnished with the "Goods of Honour" shield. It's a clacker, as Harry says. 😊
