What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great pair, Greg! I once bought a RR copperhead like yours (except it had gunstock checkered covers) at a gun and knife show. Eventually, I decided it was too big, and I gave it away. Later, I developed a taste for carrying more big knives, and regretted getting rid of the copperhead.:oops: On the other hand, I bought a whittler with spear main like yours and liked it so much that I bought another one!

Thanks, my friend. I have two of each of those RR patterns that I've kept, had 4 of the whittler but gave one to a granddaughter and one to a son in law. Everything about the whittlers is near flawless, fit, finish, blade snap, etc. When I first decided to get into collecting I went the cheap import route and many of them were worth of keeping.

😊
I keep most of mine but my 16yr old has all ready told me to catalogue them as she has claimed them when I am gone😲 she doesn't get I am going to live forever 🤣
Besides if I did catalogue them the wife would ask the question. How many do you need? Which leads to Why don't you sell some?😢😂
To stay on point, wenger this morning gotta go out soon.View attachment 2094527

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Hen & Rooster mini canoe (thanks, Will):

Lambsfoot of the Week is a Chinese Schrade 19OT. Schrade calls the model the Land Shark, and says it has a coping blade, but I call mine LambShark, since I think the blade fits the definition of lambsfoot blade.

Nice...I am always surprised how well they are made ( fit & finish ).
I only have 2 Bulldogs. The stockman I’ve had for about 12 or 13 years and have carried it a lot. It’s actually one of my favorites.

My other Bulldog I’ve had for several years also but just started carrying it this past fall.

But I agree on the fit and finish. I wish I had picked more of them up when they were more readily available.
I guess it won’t hurt to post the other one.B18DC764-5056-47A3-A91A-10EEFAB24459.jpeg

A Queen Canoe in Amber Stag Bone has been in my pocket today. Has a few spots, but the D2 overall does well. Single spring design. Lovely to hold in the hand. Queen knives usually came with butter knife edges. I "adjusted" this one when I bought it.
