Old 062 today.

Great old knife👌
I had these two old workers today. :)
Dontcha love the way the old cocobolo darkens with age ~ and assorted oils and fluids related to working man’s knives? Nice Ulster, JJ.
A Queen Canoe in Amber Stag Bone has been in my pocket today. Has a few spots, but the D2 overall does well. Single spring design. Lovely to hold in the hand. Queen knives usually came with butter knife edges. I "adjusted" this one when I bought it.

“Butter knife edges” 😁
Makes you wonder if that was an official policy, or what?
Anyway, sharpening a knife is a tactile pleasure, right?

Have a nice day :)
I’ll call you Master Of Good Lighting 🤙
Yes, a very pocket-friendly size indeed, and with a solid array of tools. The Swiss Army Knife - a true engineering marvel.
Oh, and one more thing... that mini-screwdriver should come as standard equipment on a corkscrew model. Just my opinion of course.
Fortunately, there are sellers on the ‘bay that have all of the SAK accessories. I need to snag a couple of toothpicks that I’ve lost. That’s the only drawback to the Alox knives~ no toothpick or tweezers, which are sooo handy.
I certainly hope that coffee is Strong to go along with those strong knives.
I like the way the cutler left the rough forged part on your blade ~ looks great.

With spring around the corner, I think I will tote my Fish Barlow made by Mark Job and a Bird and Trout Knife (Damascus and Curly Koa wood) made by Chris Montgomery. 😊

1 1/2” of fresh powder last night cannot stop me from thinking about hitting the river!
“Continental selection“

Its a term used on packaging in English supermarkets for a mixture of European cold cuts and cheese.

IMHO those who don't use there knives for anything other than collecting deprive them selves of a very simple pleasure. 😇

I refuse to have a knife that I won’t use, but to each their own. Some porchsters get a lot of pleasure in collecting pristine knives and keeping them that way, and I do enjoy seeing them here.

I was asked to help out and take photos at a Ukranian peace rally in the heart of our ancient English city today,it was my pleasure to do so.

I had met some of them before, they are the nicest people.

All I carried was this Cadet.

We had rain, sun, cold and overcast, we reflected,we smiled,we where sombre at times.

The quiet strength and warmth these people display is something to behold.

Fantastic photos, well done  Thank you for sharing them here

Absolutely, unfortunately here in the state, we don't get good cheese or sausage in the grocery store like this. The similar package comes with boiled ham and extra bland "cheddar".
