What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Snowing on and off for the last few days but nothing we can't handle here in our area. The county and state do a good job with plowing and if a body keeps up with shoveling and plowing their own driveways/roads everything goes smoothly but WOW the people down in San Bernardion County and Wrightwood with up to six feet of snow with no plowing by the state, county, or cities, aren't going anywhere. Anyway, Cindy and I are off to town in a bit with of course an obligatory stop at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. I took such pains to take a picture of this knife yesterday that it deserves to be carried today with Bunny #525 and the old capped jack Case knife. Holding off breakfast until we get to town.

Nice pair Jack !

I just got the Robertson Custom WT in the mail yesterday, so I am going to give it some more time in the pocket today. I am really impressed with the quality. I was a little worried about the antlers on the buck snagging, but, after seeing it in person, those worries vanished, as it lays down nicely in the stag and the shield seems very thick. Thought I would add my custom Humphrey Muley to the mix. 😊

Cool scrimshaw !
Working on this Cattaraugus that just arrived....hopefully will carry it tomorrow.View attachment 2099070

Congrats Bob !

Carrying this stagnut ;) I just picked up yesterday.
I'm guessing that it will be with me every day seeing as it's going to be carried loose in my pocket and takes up like no room.
The stag on the opposite side is much nicer but my photo was blurry so another time for that.

Classy barlows Rachell...but the scrimshaw takes them to another level.😀

Dan, a great rescue of your Schrade.

Two knives with alot of wow factor Paul.

A fine example of what a lamb can be in a craftsmanship hand.
Thanks! An old Schrade deserves new life. Haha.

If a Jack Knife means all the blades hinge on the same end, that 3 blader you showed yesterday is not as common as this one, is it?
What did GEC call that 3 blade NF? And I’d guess having 3 springs, it’s chunky.
It sure looks handy.

That’s a fine knife, and I think it’s great that you’ve rescued it and given it some lovin!
If a person could only have one knife, the 804 would be a good one to be stuck with.
Thanks. I agree, the 804 would be up there near the top of my list as well.
