Mellow Yellow ............. seems like I heard that somewhere before.

Probably a fortunate thing for the whole forum Mr. Jack.

Thanks, my friend!
Beautiful pair Mr. Primble . I saw your new Stag WT by Robertson on the Exchange and very quickly left before I was tempted , so I did not see that you got it . That is a very nice looking knife . Great Stag . Congrats to you for picking it up .I just got the Robertson Custom WT in the mail yesterday, so I am going to give it some more time in the pocket today. I am really impressed with the quality. I was a little worried about the antlers on the buck snagging, but, after seeing it in person, those worries vanished, as it lays down nicely in the stag and the shield seems very thick. Thought I would add my custom Humphrey Muley to the mix.

Case Trapper today. I found this log that looks like a pileated woodpecker has been tearing into it. Hope he doesn’t find my cedar siding on my house.![]()
Thanks, Bob, it is a joy to carry and use. Excellent walk & talk along with the good looks.A fine example of what a lamb can be in a craftsmanship hand.
Classy barlows Rachell...but the scrimshaw takes them to another level.![]()
Even I can see those!Beautiful work Rachel

Thanks, guys!Cool scrimshaw !
I’ve never had any problems with the pileated woodpeckers on my siding. There are plenty around here, and I love to watch them. They’re commonly referred to as wood hens here. The only problems we’ve had with woodpeckers on our siding are from the hairy woodpeckers; they’ve been quite rough on the siding from time to time.Thank you Harry. I think I went back to that knife three or four times that evening, kinda hoping somebody might take it and end my own temptation. Glad I took the leap.
I forgot to take a pile side pic, soon to be remedied.
Nice way to end the Month with your totes today ..... we both toted a large stag with clip and a Coco Humphrey today.
Those big ole pileated woodpeckers can do some serious damage in a short amount of time. Don't think they will hammer cedar, will they ?
Nice log for a background and I am fond of your patina on the blades and bone of your Trapper.
I keep a little carved Downey WP on my bedroom closet door. I've always loved all of the woodpecker species.
