What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

After a couple cups of coffee and sausage and eggs for breakfast, I'm going outside to shovel and plow snow. I don't think I'll need a knife but will carry this Orange Bull Nose as it'll be easy to spot and find it should I drop it in the snow. Can't imagine what I'd need a knife for shoveling and plowing snow but something unforeseen raises it head at the weirdest times.

I needed some wood for Wednesday.5B2FBE2D-BF59-4AC4-8C47-FA550FC9E5FB.jpegC7A09159-D424-47B6-8CEE-C5589BCD12EA.jpeg

Supposed to be a splendid day, weather wise ~ high 50s (f), and sunny. Gotta enjoy it, because they predict 5 to 8 inches of global warming on Friday.
Have a super day!

Edit: now the word is only 3 to 5 “ of snow. I predict mostly rain, a little snow, and a lot of mud.

Might get out and snap some nature shots today. Eureka Jack will be accompanying me, whatever I end up doing.

How is your pup doing Tyson A Wright Tyson A Wright ? I'm sorry I forgot its, name but I haven't forgot you've got a dog in distress.

It was ‘Dads Day’ at the girls’ preschool this AM so it’s been a great start to the day. I hope everyone is having a fine hump day as well.

Other good news is I found Hati; that little guy is easier to lose than my Alox Cadet…

I picked up this Ti Compact last year and it’s been a mainstay secondary in my EDC. Love the ‘upgrade’ with these covers. Also joining the pockets is the Gator - tough to let that one sit for too long.

Lacey seems to be fine, recovered from procedures last week. But we haven't gotten results yet on whether the bump on her gums is malignant or benign. Hoping to hear today. Thanks for asking! Hope Coco is enjoying the snow!

Have a great Wednesday everyone!

A fine (and capable) choice for your snow moving tasks, Ed.
Carried the Pony Jack yesterday, never left my pocket. I’m working late today so I figured this Compact might come in handy for what I’m doing. I’ll have other flashlights with me but this little one is extremely capable.

Interesting design on your Opinel, GT. Also, sanitary sewer seems like an oxymoron, maybe it’s just me…🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣

Both are exceptional Mr.P.👍
Very nice John...one day I will find a classic yellow like that....👍
Incredible bone! Well worn by working hands.
Some of us would like to see those happy blades.View attachment 2100160

I think I prefer Harvester, too. The other name is descriptive, but has no romance. I vote 858 for your second tote at the farm.
If I had to guess, you will be starting plants indoors?

Yes, those are fine little knives. I have one, but the bone on yours may be better looking.

Sorry to hear that. Ankle injuries take time to heal. Being desk bound is added punishment! I can remember my days as an inventory control analyst. And I especially remember all the practical jokes, like unscrewing the mouthpiece of someone’s desk phone, and removing the little speaker disk. Hello? Hello? CAN YOU HEAR ME? Oh xxxx!
Or making a chain out of all of Dennis’s paper clips.
Then there was the whoopie cushion under that one girls seat cushion…

Great pair as always, buddy!
How old do ya figure that EO jack is? Such bone! Much wow!
Thank you Jeff, I always try to imagine when these were tucked into a pair of old work pants.View attachment 2100292

Thank you my friend. I have it on my knife list as 1939-1942. 😊
Very nice contrast in color in your totes today and I like that Case shield.

Stunning pair Mr P

Thank you Mr. Jack ...................... a very handsome pair of blacks being toted by Mr. Black today !😊

Both are exceptional Mr.P.👍

Thank you Mr. R. 😊

You found a very nice example of a model 21129 Catt ............... blades have a nice shape too !😍

From the Catt book .................2 = number of blades, 1 = number of bolsters, 12 = open end jack, 9 = bone covers. 😊

If you want to, you can lightly clean around the tangs with fine steel wool and you won't lose any of the crispness in the markings.
