What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I thought that last little line I added might cause me some trouble. So what's Mr. P having for lunch today ? 🤔

How else could two crowns in yer pocket make you feel ? 🤔 🤣

Nice peasantry my friend.;)🤣🤣🤣🤣 I always heard the peasants resisted the crown.😲;)🤣
Crows don't taste all that bad .......................... do they ?

P.S. - I know you are just sandbagging anyway. Do I need to bring up your spotless and pristine eye candy sheepsfoot forum knife ? :p

I think that is my favorite 77 !😍🤣

Just 29 more days to go Ellis !
Looking forward to all of your variations and nice pictures. You have a fine knife to work with.😍

Thank you Mr. R. !😊

Thank you Mr. Jack and a very nice blue collar working knife for you today. I reckon I will climb down off my high horse (with crown of course 🤣) come tomorrow. Until then ......

;)🤣
Some people in Europe talk about being elevated to the peerage (aristocrats) clearly not grand enough for Mr P henceforth known as HM The Primble or King Cutler :D The notorious Idi Amin of Uganda proclaimed himself Last King of Scotland...

That crowned bird do look fine but Crow it's not...it's a Common or Eurasian Blackbird - turdus merula - and was eaten quite widely in France at one time, also see the English nursery rhyme Sing a Song of Sixpence- four & twenty blackbirds, for more royal connexions ;)

You won't be likely to want to encounter this knife still less EDC it

But for a man with Regal ambitions it's kind of strange he never seems to carry any QUEEN Cutlery knives? o_O

The Emperor Caligula of Ancient Rome appointed his horse as Senate Leader, can we hope for a hallowed role for Elijah J ?

May I ask the make/model of the watch? Do you find the compass and thermoter accurate?
Hey Mike. It's a Samsung galaxy watch 5. The compass seems pretty accurate, though I haven't put it side by side with a good mechanical compass. If I can find mine I'll report back.
There's a skin temp sensor that is used in sleep tracking, which I don't do. Not sure how accurate it is.

Thanks Gary. I like the idea of a watch with a built-in compass. I saw the temp on the display in your pic and thought it was an air temp thermometer. I can't see an air temp thermometer working well when its strapped to a 98 degree human, but then I was skeptical of the built in thermometers in cars and they seem to work well.
Handsome watch

Today is the anniversary of Texas’ Declaration of Independence, March 2, 1836, and ensuing war to break free from Mexico. General Santa Anna became the military dictator of Mexico, suspending its constitution and elected body of representatives. The pattern is one repeated over and over through history, when a few who “know what is best” abolish freedoms of the citizens “for their own good.” Several Mexican states rebelled, with Texas sucessfully breaking away. It was its own country for ten years, until it joined the United States. For those interested in history, look up the Zacatecas Rebellion for the beginning of the fight.

Spanish and French explorers were in what is now Texas in the 1500’s, long before the English Pilgrims hit the shores in the northeast.

Texas has been part of Spain, France, and Mexico at various times before joining the United States, but it was never part of Great Britain.

This flag is one of my most prized personal possessions, a flag flown over the Alamo on March 2, 2021, Texas Independence Day in my honor. The big Bowie knife by Randall is out today in remembrance of the fight of Jim Bowie and his colleagues that fought against the dictatorial powers of Gen. Santa Anna. Rest in peace warriors and may we remember your painful lessons of history to avoid repeating them.

Funny you said that ! 😲

Elijah J. don't need no appointment .................. he was actually named Prince William at birth.
That whole litter of Maine Coons was named after British Royalty, by the lady that sold him to me as a kitten.

I changed his name to something a little less regal. I'm not entirely sure the lady ( a.k.a. baby raiser) actually completely got over it.

Mr. E. does think those crown jacks belongs to him, though. ;)🤣

Nice bone on your Crown Lifter !😍

Oh! The air temp is from a weather service. It's like the temp that shows on your smartphone. The watch shares info with the phone via Bluetooth.
I've been happy with the watch. Thanks. Been real happy with the knives 🔪🗡️too!
