Thanks for reply and imput Jack. Thanks Bob, I'd never heard of them. I just had a look at their site, asking a lot of money! The blade profile looks somewhat different in this pic, with a wider blade, and a blockier nose than you'd expect on a Lambsfoot. It's worth noting that the Lambsfoot wasn't available to Vikings and Anglo-SaxonsIn Sheffield, where the Lambsfoot originates, cutlers use the same stamping tools they've used for generations, whereas this is an interpretation made by someone who may have limited familiarity with the pattern, and what makes it so useful. Interesting knives though

Oh, I can feel your pain, my friend. I suppose there’s some satisfaction in knowing there might be a reduced risk of wildfire later on?Woke up to snow again this morning. Already been out to shovel. Have Bunny #525 in my keys pocket and am also carrying the red Bull Nose. Was going to go to town but will probably hold off on that.

I guess you’re planning on hooking up a come along to the truck bed, and ramping your tractor in to take it to the doctor?
Thank you, Bob
Thank you, Steve

Thanks! The Courthouse Whittlers are one of my all time favorite GECs and the 61’s are sweet too! That Deluxe Congress of yours makes for a fine whittler!Absolute beauty there! This was one of my 2 GEC "grails" for the longest time. I wanted either this exact knife or one of the 61 Deluxe Congresses and eventually got my Deluxe which quelled my search... I'd still snap up a Courthouse Whittler like this if I ever had the chance though.
I'm very sorry Bob, I was looking at the wrong knife! Thanks for reply and imput Jack.
The one I am looking at is to the right of the friction folder. Yes they are pricy!!
Truly impressive English Jack Dan.Another unsettled day here in the City by the Bay. Nice out now but changes are coming. Going with the usual lamb and English Jack.

Thank you again Jack for your time and knowledgeable imput.I'm very sorry Bob, I was looking at the wrong knife!Yes, unlike the other 'Lambsfoot' knife, I'd say that one IS a Lambsfoot!
I do think they're expensive, bearing in mind the factors I mentioned in my PM
