Is that a 175?
“As there are gaps in my needs”Rufus1949 I like many Queen knives notably the D2 ones but one must be selective, lot of the final years' output was to be steered well clear of- badly made, often ugly and overpriced. Current prices of the decent stuff have taken off which in some ways is unfortunate (as there are gaps in my needs...)

I don’t have any GEC 48s, or Charlie’s Diamond Jacks, or any Wharncliffes, now that I think about it. But I do have most variations of what Schrade called their Serpentine Jack. Like you, I love the pattern, and had um… gaps in my needs. This iteration of the 48 with the warncliff has become my favorite pattern

A good knife helps when things get challenging. Or odd. Or both!Well, this was an oddly challenging day, but I did have a surprisingly nice knife in my pocket.

Yeah, I can see why. I once got my grubby paws on Harry’s Farmer Jack, so I can see why you love it.Two of the favourites on a blizzard day -14c

I am in need of a bit of help!!
Hi all over in the US, my question is about an English maker. The chaps name is Keith Moorby, he also made the knives for a company called "Stud Custom", i met him the other day. One of the British Blades.Com members works for one of the few companies left making knives and we had a tour of his...www.bladeforums.com

Been on a mini trapper kick as of late. Really is a great pattern. Kind of easy to do when your buddy finds out your taking an interest and sends you a couple out of the blue. Got my personal favorite stag dam lamb in the other pocket.

Schrade Walden 294 Serpy Jack in Delrin, and High Carbon Cattle in very worn, but so far solid bone. And a walnut left on my plant stand/knife posing spot by a tree rat. He probably got distracted by Manny trying to eat him.View attachment 2107342View attachment 2107343 on the glider on which I often sit when it’s warm out.
For fun, I have this for you all.
Some bureaucrat in our county or state government must have gone to Europe or New Jersey, or some other crowded place, and thought they would make us more sophisticated by installing suicide circles on some of our country roads.
This is what happens.View attachment 2107344
Nice Steve...nice to see the Schrades coming out to play.
Thanks Bob, I'd never heard of them. I just had a look at their site, asking a lot of money! The blade profile looks somewhat different in this pic, with a wider blade, and a blockier nose than you'd expect on a Lambsfoot. It's worth noting that the Lambsfoot wasn't available to Vikings and Anglo-SaxonsHi Jack,
Knife is made by Willslock Forge in England. They call it a lambsfoot, but others have mislabeled the past...so was just checking.
Thanks,
Bob
