What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Some bureaucrat in our county or state government must have gone to Europe or New Jersey, or some other crowded place, and thought they would make us more sophisticated by installing suicide circles on some of our country roads.

We have one of those roundabouts not too far from where I live .................. I've never figured out why. Lots of black marks around it too. 😊

Happy to help my friend :) Sorry for getting the wrong knife! 😖 😂

Age has NO bearing on a simple mistake Mr. Jack ! 🤣
Any of us have the same potential. ;)

Trying to find a use for this one today. But I think I’ve found one. I imagine the little kiddo picking this out at sears before a camping trip and beaming with pride. That thought is enough of a use for me today. Hope everyone is having a great one!

Schrade Walden 294 Serpy Jack in Delrin, and High Carbon Cattle in very worn, but so far solid bone. And a walnut left on my plant stand/knife posing spot by a tree rat. For fun, I have this for you all.

Sorry for missing this earlier Jeff! 😁 I was in Austria about 16 years ago, seemed someone had been on a UK junket/fact-finding trip, so they built some there, but there were only a handful in the entire country, so nobody knew how to treat them! 🤣 Sheffield used to have the ultimate 'suicide circle' back in the 70's, which had about a dozen entrances/exits, and no traffic lights. It was an absolute death-trap. I used to work nearby as a teenager, and one day, one of the mechanics from our garage was going to a breakdown. He sped onto the roundabout, 4 or 5 lanes deep, as you had to, and as he accelerated, his tool-box shot out of the back of the van, and emptied itself all over the tarmac. He had to slowly back up, in the midst of all the madness, opening the door a couple of inches, so he could pick up his tools, one at a time! 😱 Poor guy is probably still having nightmares about it! 🙄🤣

Never a worry Jack. I know you are always being sought out for advice and are kept busy.

Thanks guys, I was actually involved in a complex simultaneous discussion with SteveC SteveC in the Guardians thread! 🤣 😉 👍

I went to a brilliant Antique arcade today which also had a great cafe that served a mean baked potato and mugs of tea the size of battleships. 😆

I saw one tin and thought thats ideal for my vintage Army knives Belgium,English and German.

You can see what else I got on my metal outdoor work bench.

SAK is the compact I am reavaluating it and have decided its very good for Urban carry with the 2 layers and scissors.

Also carried my new XS Knippex pliers, they are bambino.

On the way back I paid my respects.

Nice mate.
haven't heard them called suicide circles before, we have plenty of roundabouts.
