I hate to tell you this, but, your Snow Bunny looks a bit distressed ................... with that lambs foot propped up in its face.
Ingenious craftsman on that work of snow art ...... Wile E. Coyote would be proud !
How much snow does your side of the pond average per season ?
A handsome pair
That's a cutie!Not my primary but it sure is pretty.View attachment 2112085
Nice haul there
I always enjoy seeing that Klaas Canoe Gary, and it's nice to see your ACMiscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Klaas red bone mini canoe. (Looks like my list of miscellaneous knives is organized by pattern, at least to some extent. This is the third straight week that I'm showing a mini canoe as my miscellaneous knife, and, peeking ahead, I see that the next 3 weeks are also mini canoes. When I revise/update my rotation schedule, I think I'll shuffle the miscellaneous knives to break up those clusters of patterns, because after 3 more weeks it will be almost a year before I carry a mini canoe again!![]()
That ain't right!)

I spent a few hours trying to find something among the accumulated kipple of Grumble Towers today, and ended up coming across 3 knife-stuffed shoe-boxes. A few treasures, but a lot of grungy semi-junk. However, there was this rare grail, undoubtedly the inspiration for GEC's recent foray into half-bladed pocket knives, the Richards Dumbwaiter! They call it "barglow acrylic" but yeah, same thing. A silhouette of a bat would be pretty cool looking, but acrylic isn't very good at taking ink.
Nice to see you, too!

Wenger trivia ~ this one is identical to the Canyon, with it’s small clip, and spear main, with another layer holding a woodsaw.
Enjoy the day ~ they go too fast.
And don’t forget we change our clocks tonight!
Spring back an hour.
Here’s how you remember how it goes ~
If you’re walking down the trail, and a copperhead snake crosses in front of you, you SPRING BACK. And if you catch your foot on a tree root, you FALL FORWARD.

Poor little feller looks like he knows his time is up soonThanks for posting that link Gary, very interesting![]()

Impressive pairing David![]()
Yes, I had almost forgotten how hard it is having to deal with a leaking roof my friend. I've been pretty lucky in my current place, only had one small leak, due to a loose slate, in 21 years, but it was different when I was a kid, and a few places I lived as a young adult. I'm glad you have it fixed nowDoesn't it just?!

I think the polish makes a big difference. Great pics, and an outstanding outdoor pair
What a great pic Tyson, I'd forgotten you had a martial interestI'll have to see if there's anything down at the Royal Armouries for you - I'm talking about some postcards or a book, not about pinching their collection!

Kudos to you two gentlemen. Great knives, magnanimous gestures.Once again the Porch never ceases to amaze me! Several days ago I posted a pic here of my usual lamb and a Case Mini Trapper CL.pat9198 mentioned that he likes the Case and he has been looking for one. I offered to gift another one I had. Patrick graciously accepted. Then he insisted on returning the favor and sent me a gorgeous Boker Barlow. It arrived today. I believe Jack Black said it best, “There is a thing that we find on The Porch that goes much deeper than the depths of our pockets. It's called friendship!". I hope that it never ends here .

Nice, Jack! GEC may occasionally come out with a few unusual patterns, but they usually have some traditional precedent. Now, if only they'd up their game to make corkscrews and marlin spikes...I spent a few hours trying to find something among the accumulated kipple of Grumble Towers today, and ended up coming across 3 knife-stuffed shoe-boxes. What were they thinking?!I can’t believe GEC forgot the corkscrew!
