And celebrating your Double Lambsfoot Day with a rarely seen Leeds Snowman; quite the cool pair to spend the day with! 😃 👍👍

How much is that per gallon ? 🤔 🤔 🤣
The price has gone up through the roof like everything else. The next order will cost $897 for a 54 gallon drum = $16/gallon plus delivery charge. So, use it sparingly, but it sure adds some WOW factor to the engine performance. I worked in a gas station back in the '60's and '70's growing up. "Ethyl" gas was 103 octane, which these old engines were designed to use. It will run on 93, but performance is anemic.

Tried the racing fuel in my chainsaws cleaning up from the ice storm. They cut like a fire breathing beasts with the 110 octane. :)

Very cool - I don't recall seeing that handle material before.

Wonderful. Kudos to you both.
Thanks, Gordon! My wife just gave me this knife for St. Patrick’s Day, she’s done that the last three years. She said it’s called Emerald River but I don’t know where she bought it. I was too impressed with it to ask her. It’s so much prettier in person and pretty hard for me to capture the colors in a photo. I really like it!

Very cool gift from your wife! I've not seen that one, very unique.

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a Klaas red bone mini canoe. (Looks like my list of miscellaneous knives is organized by pattern, at least to some extent. This is the third straight week that I'm showing a mini canoe as my miscellaneous knife, and, peeking ahead, I see that the next 3 weeks are also mini canoes. When I revise/update my rotation schedule, I think I'll shuffle the miscellaneous knives to break up those clusters of patterns, because after 3 more weeks it will be almost a year before I carry a mini canoe again! o_O  That ain't right!)

Lambsfoot of the Week is Cracker Jack, my Ashley's Choice stag lambsfoot from a 2018 Jack Black SFO:

Looks like you’d better sharpen up six or ten pencils, get a fresh notepad, and fire up the slide rule. There’s a disturbance in the Canoe force!

Cracker Jack’s lookin mighty fine.
I spent a few hours trying to find something among the accumulated kipple of Grumble Towers today, and ended up coming across 3 knife-stuffed shoe-boxes. A few treasures, but a lot of grungy semi-junk. However, there was this rare grail, undoubtedly the inspiration for GEC's recent foray into half-bladed pocket knives, the Richards Dumbwaiter! :D ;)

Looking good Jeff, do you collect Wengers?
Thanks, Jack!
I have accumulated a few Wengers. I have always favored them over Victorinox, largely out of pity for the underdog.

I would be “puttin on airs” to say I am a collector. It’s more like indulging in a mostly harmless bit of anti-minimalism. 😗

Love the Dumbwaiter! A Grail to outgrail them all.
Who made the slip? John ——-?
That was made for me by JohnDF JohnDF . A generous gift.
I like it for the protection it offers due to the stiff, thick leather.
A lot of the knives I use, I don’t worry about it, but sometimes, it’s nice to have that protection.

Nice pairing David :)
Great pics :)
Despite the downpour, Dawn and I walked the dogs at Del Paso Regional Park, which has some lovely nature trails, and is only about a mile and a half from us. We are fans of the Scandinavian saying, "There is no bad weather, only bad clothing."

I had the delightful HHB with me. Yesterday I posted the show side, with its stunning stag. Here's the pile side, which also has beautiful stag. Thanks again Jack Black Jack Black . Everybody else, get used to this, 'cause I think I'm going to be posting it a lot.

I had a couple from Sheffield with me today. :)
Thank you JJ, sweet pair of Sheffield slicers there :)
Thanks, Jack!

I used to carry a Wenger World Scout Knife while travelling in Europe Jeff, a real shame they are gone :( I had some dealings with the company when I was an outdoor writer
