What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

With the Colt and Ka-bar you are certainly prepared.

Nice looking knives. Better is the lack of the crusties in the background. Spring has to arrive soon
Thanks, my friend. It’s a bit strange, but I find myself hoping spring holds off a little longer. I HAVE to finish tiling this bathroom, and if it’s nice outside, that makes it hard😁

Headed out to feed the birds 🐦 . Snow last night, here on the hill. It's just about melted though. Have a good one!

I always enjoy seeing pics of your Boker, it's a class act for sure.

I had these yesterday. I have them again. The Voos sharpened pencils, and opened bags of tile leveling clips and spacers, and the Oregon Trapper cut some chicken for my daughter’s sammich, and sliced an orange for me. Tough duty indeedView attachment 2133174
Have a fine day, all.
An honest day’s work if you ask me Jeff.
😎👍
A new to me ebony 68 and 93 lamb today.

Love a 68, looking good Paul. 😎👍
Carrying a couple of sleeveboard knives myself today. The smaller Winchester pen/ half whittler (?), goes in the watch pocket. The HS&B whittler that I picked up at the blade show for the back pocket. Both ebony covered, I think anyway.

Great looking knives Greg. The sleeveboard is a cool pattern. 😎

A stormy day here in the City by the Bay. Going to the DMV to get my drivers license renewed and get a “Real ID”. The hoops you have to jump through is crazy. A certified copy of my birth certificate plus three more things that show you live at your home address. Thank god that my annal retentive brother kept all of my moms paperwork after she passed away. He found it! It’s still in pretty good shape after almost 66 years. On this momentous journey I will take the usual lamb and SAK Executive. 😀

totin’ this brand new, shiny, beautiful 87 and a little OT in the watch pocket today.

I need to be more careful about these small knives…. I can’t find my 49 and that was the watch pocket carry on Sunday. I’m hoping I just set it down somewhere and it didn’t fall out… 😐

Cindy was suppose to have the rep from Owens by the house today to service her oxygen machine but he called and said he couldn't make it because of heavy snow so, we're off to town in a short while for errands and lunch at our local Chinese restaurant. The snow isn't here yet but it's on the horizon. I use this site to track weather in our area.

This is the real time image from the Perez Station which is about eight miles West of our house as the crow flies. Yep, won't be long before I'll have the snow shovel working when we get back from town.

I'll be totin the A. Wright Bunny Knife today.

Oh how nice that pair is....great capture from the show.

Bob
Thanks Bob. I carried the little Winchester to the show hoping to find a big brother to go along with it.;)

Those look like they were made to be carried together. Great pair Greg.
Thanks, Paul. I was hoping to find a single spring/two blade sleeveboard like the Winchester only a bit larger, happy with this one though. It needs a bit more clean up but the price was right and the blades have nice walk and talk. I had great time at the show with you fellas, hope to see there again next year.:)

I think I would also call it a half whittler sleeveboard. Or just a damned sweet little knife!

Greg, I’ve been breaking in my new genuine Russel Green River Knife with the custom black locust scales from the creative shop of sunknife sunknife !

I just might have a new go-to in the kitchen. Slim and slicey😃
Thanks again!

Happy to see ya put it to use, Jeff.:) I was also thinking it might work out when you're in the garden or at the smoker with some meat. Use it and if you want abuse it my friend, but just remember is does not come with a warranty as I am a mere amateur at this.😄😄

The Real ID comes in handy for sure. New York State has an Enhanced Drivers license that is equivalent. I got it with the Veteran designation also. It works equally as well, and was equally a PITA to get all the paperwork together. I also carry a Passport card. I am extremely identifiable!
We're about an 90 minutes from the Canadian border. Either one works there.

I know what you mean. I want it to hold off due to lack of bug killing cold temps. Already have flies buzzing

With that huge white vinyl "death wish" decal covering the back window of that rattle trap of a truck, I kinda doubt it Bob. :(
I've been ignoring them ..... reasoning that it is likely them trying to impress their buddies that they can frighten old men.
........... it won't hurt to be prepared though. ;) 💪😊

For my walk this morning ............ then I will likely be lightening up the load with just my snakewood Albers for the rest of the day. 😊

Love the handles on your Russell GRW. 😍

Sorry you are stuck inside. I used to volunteer for such projects ........ then I wised up a little. 🤔🤔🤔
Last summer, I still got stuck with a porch rail re-build after the contractors botched the job for my son. I got one free meal out of it though. 🤣⭐
I am feeling my age more now and it is enough to just look after my own problems. 😊💪
