Love these photos so much! Last summer, there was a pair of Chickadees in the Nature Preserve behind my house, who would take sunflower seeds right out of my hand. I'd been sitting on a rock located beneath their nest cavity every day while taking a break from my daily hike, and would always leave behind a small pile of seeds upon leaving. Eventually, they grew accustomed to me and would boldly land on my hand and take a seed or two. It was so awesome! I never thought to take a knife as a landing platform though! Awesome pics
Is the snake eating the fish, or vice versa? I can't tell LOL. Awesome photos!Carried some smooth white bone after returning from morning bike ride.

Great capture of bird and knife. You must be a bird whisperer.
Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Into the vest goes the usual lamb and a #14 barlow.

Interesting to hear about your film career John, some outstanding pics thereI forced myself out of the house this afternoon.
Went for a short walk in the park where spring was all around.
Then went to view a famous painting in a University/college church I had it to myself which was quite nice.
Paid my respects to those of the college who died in WW1 and turned the page over to April.
The hand writting is absolutely stunning,I read all the names and tried to work out which units they all where with.
Nipped into town as its all very close looking for homeless people.
In the end I gave 5 of them good quality tee shirts and a pair of excellent Vans (no longer fit me) to one chap whose sole was hanging of his shoes.
It was a great feeling as they wher all so happy and appreciative.
The theatre near where I parked my car was where I was an extra in a film with Hugh Grant,Oliver Read,Emma Samms,Gordon Jackson etc.
I was a cavalier soldier who arrested Hugh Grant and Lysette Anthony.
You can see me for about 2 secounds if that...Good pay and lots of free food plus we got to chat to the stars.
Emma Samms asked to have her photo taken with me believe it or not.
Hugh hates the film,I love it close as I will get to hollywood.
9mins 20s in
the director kept saying hold it,hold it but those fake muskats weighed a ton and we all flagged take after take
That's no way to treat Lysette Anthony!
Is that Jack's favorite actor, Oliver Reed, prosecuting?
I heard a Radio 4 interview with the actor who played Oliver in the musical. The interviewer said, "It must have been such a pleasure to work with Oliver Reed." He said that hadn't been the case at all, as he was 'in character' as Bill Sykes, being surly and unpleasant on set, and would growl at the child actors, and cuff them round the ear, if they got in his way!Oliver Read was a disappointment, He had his young girlfriend with him and was mostly reading his book often sat on the floor out of the way with no sign of drink.
I was hoping to be invited out on a session with him, good job I wasnt I might still be in a hedge recovering...![]()
Fantastic pics Dan, I have been enjoying all the talk of Gaucho knives your new acquisition has inspired

Today was a little field test for the 301. A bit disappointed, as it developed quite a bit of wobble after whittling one thumb-thick stick ( of seasoned birch). A few taps with the other end of the same stick made it better, but I think the GEC 66 still holds the champion title for me
Winkler Belt knife, one of my favorites!I really like your fixed blade in the horizontal belt sheath !![]()

Ha! Even though your wording was different, I realized it was a dupe pic. So I didn’t bother to “like” the second one. And then, you deleted the other one.Traveling light for a trip to the store
