That 1792 Dyin' Lion SAK is so classy!

An understandable assumption GaryLeeds has an old subscription library, I'll have to walk that way more often
I had a moustache in my 20's, and a couple of times in my 30's. That picture is from the Boy's Own Annual, the cricket team are similarly hirsute!

Both knives have plenty of life left!![]()
I'm afraid that poinsettia is about done.
I looked at old rosters for a while, but no names seemed to connect to that photo for me. Any idea what season the photo is from? Mid-70s? Early 80s?Thank you!
Yes, that’s a White Sox player. There was a time when I likely could have named him, but sadly, no longer![]()
Great chickadee pictures, Dan!
Congrats on your new Schrade, Bob! Love the jigging, shield, and round bolsters!Spring seems to be here...off to get mulch. I'm liking the size of this new, to me Schrade.View attachment 2139823

Very gentlemanly and classy pair, Paul.
Ah jeez. I have no idea. I should have known better than to joke around about baseball with this crowd of baseball geeks.I looked at old rosters for a while, but no names seemed to connect to that photo for me. Any idea what season the photo is from? Mid-70s? Early 80s?

Or Primo if you prefer.

I haven’t paid attention to sports in years. I do remember when Dave Kingman was belting homers right and left, and he had a mustache…
The comments about mustaches reminded me of when someone, an announcer or teammate, commented about a player’s mustach ~ “He likes his mustache so much, he keeps a coulple of spares on his face.”
It might have been Bill Buchner ~

Or maybe this guy ~ View attachment 2141129
But like any joke, or attempt to get a chuckle, when you have to explain it, you have to just let it go…
Gracias Jeff for that. It IS built like a tank. The coined liners means Premium!

Going triple yellow is pretty cool Jeff. That duck has a freaky post apocalyptic look to it. Looks like it was taken from ground zero in NM.Good Tuesday morning!
I want to show y’all my little knives, many of which were gifts. View attachment 2141139
All on the left were kindly gifted to me from fellow Porch members, most recently ~ yesterday, in fact ~ Bob
No matter what I have in my right front pocket, I always carry one of these little guys in that little guitar pick pocket they put on blue jeans, even though I rudely neglect to honor them with a photo to post.
I’m sticking with the wee SW Yellow Celluloid Stockman as long as I’m totin the yellow delrin pair.View attachment 2141140View attachment 2141141The daffodills ~ or do you say jonquills ~ are going to have blasts of yellow all over the yard in a few days.
