What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This Case Trapper was with me today. You can see the reflection of the ceiling fan in the blades.

I seem to remember I got it pretty cheap. Maybe from somebody with short thumbnails.

It's a beauty Jer

Great pairings gents :)
These two at the moment. Didn't think the little tiny Camillus was going to get here til Thursday, so it was a nice surprise to have it in the mailbox today.

If I'm interpreting the tang stamp correctly, I think this is from 1970s or early 80s, but I'm no expert (and have seen slightly conflicting commentary online, so I dunno).

It needs a bunch of cleanup and a sharpening, but I think it's in pretty good condition overall. Based on the seller's pics, I was thinking it would be a good recover candidate, but these black plastic (Delrin, probably?) slabs are actually in nice shape. It has no snap at the moment, but I don't think that's anything that a good flushing and oiling won't fix.

Great pairing Jack. I hope you find some interesting settings on your trek.

Very nice Bob ! It looks like very Camillus like 👍
Thanks Steve. In my searching, I found that Robeson made knives for Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett who used the OVB lettering.
I cannot rule out Camillus yet.

SAK of the Week is a Vic Electrician, the first Alox SAK I ever had; it arrived the day before I had a colonoscopy, and comforted me during the prep for that procedure (thanks, Greg). With the spear main, a secondary sheepsfoot, an awl, and a bottle opener/screwdriver, I think of it as a Swiss punch stockman with cap lifter.

Stockman of the Week is this Imperial stockman with Hammer Brand shield (thanks, Tom):
