Thanks for those details. I was thinking of getting that backpocket and the sod buster but might reconsider. Appreciate it.Fit and finish seem ok, there was a big red goober on the pile side for some reason, it didn't look like polishing compound as it was adhered quite strong and had to whittle it off the scale. And speaking of scales, these bone covers are odd to me, the jigged areas have soft fluffy stuff, almost like cloth, you can carve that off as well to knock down any areas that are sticking up. The blade is pretty nice, the notch does have some sharp edges while the blades edge needed to be sharpened up, which it took an edge nicely. The knife came with a braided brown leather lanyard and that bolo tie thingy, but I opted for a little longer lanyard and used the bolo tie clip at the end of the diamond knot, it just has a pinch type attachment, hopefully it will stay put!

Thank you sir, and welcome to the porch!Great knives. Even better card. That’s a keeper. Happy belated 44th brother.
Haha..... Thanks.That isn't a boring knife.
That is a great capture Mr.P. It cleans up well too.Found this 1930's Remington RS3333 Scout-Camp knife down at the Rags to Richies Antique mall Wednesday. Some might remember the nice old Russell knives I found there a while back. This one checked most of the boxes for me ..... strong snap on all four tools, nice full blades, bone with no cracks, and a good price.
I called it my last year to be in my sixties gift from Elijah J.![]()
Not much more than an alcohol swabbing, clean up with steel wool and oil. I like the way it looks for the kind of knife it is.
I've been totin' it the last three days. I might eventually clean it a little more, but, kinda doubting that I will. Reserve the right to change my mind though.

Nice looking knife. That knife calls for a leather sheath to me.
