r8shell r8shell ~ Passover blessings to you and yours! I am not a fan of large meals late at night, but if it’s properly smoked Texas brisket, I’m in.
But as they say, “Man, O Manischevitz…” I hope the sweet wine in only once a year! 🥺😁
Thank you very much. This is the one time per year that the brisket is cooked Jewish pot roast style instead of smoked. It was fantastic, and the hostess even sliced a small piece for me with the grain, just like Mom used to. There was better wine on the table, but I had to have the Manischevitz for the nostalgia. 😂
Have a blessed Good Friday and Easter weekend.

As the family’s cook, I am always willing to experiment on my victims. I mean wife and daughter.

This recipe sounds good!😉

Found this 1930's Remington RS3333 Scout-Camp knife down at the Rags to Richies Antique mall Wednesday. Some might remember the nice old Russell knives I found there a while back. This one checked most of the boxes for me ..... strong snap on all four tools, nice full blades, bone with no cracks, and a good price.
I called it my last year to be in my sixties gift from Elijah J. 🐈‍⬛ 😊
Not much more than an alcohol swabbing, clean up with steel wool and oil. I like the way it looks for the kind of knife it is. 😊

I've been totin' it the last three days. I might eventually clean it a little more, but, kinda doubting that I will. Reserve the right to change my mind though.
