Stunning stag Winchester! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

And belated congrats on 9 years as a BF member! :)

Robust and rugged rosewood HHB, Taylor!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Looks like a very versatile and useful pair of knives, Steve!:cool::thumbsup:

My grandpa used to call those fish "specs" when he'd take me fishing 60 or more years ago. I looked up "crappie" on Wikipedia and learned that "specs" or "speckled bass" is a common name for that species, especially in Michigan! 🤓

Congrats on finally getting a sweet Ulster BSA knife!:cool::thumbsup:

Cool that you could locate that old fish knife!:cool::cool:
The vertical USA on the right side of the tang stamp indicates manufacture in the years 1956-1988.
I have a couple of Imperial toothpicks like that, but with a pen secondary instead of the scalar "blade".

Congrats on the cool blond horn French knives, JJ!:thumbsup::cool:
Do you happen to know what type of horn that is?
(I think your phone is off the hook, as we used to say when I was a kid. 🤓)

Nobody does vintage voodoo like you do, Rob!!:thumbsup:😁

I love your Imperial toothpick, Gary, and also the tang stamp info!

Always nice to see your Colonial electrician. The blond covers are nice. I had one in wood, but gave it away.
Maybe you can putter about the homestead and find some screws that need tightening…

I chose the elegant Buck yesterday, partly so as to not have something too lumpy that would possibly thump on the back of my guitar during the fortissimo parts. We have a drummer for that.
Being my favorite Forum Knife, I’ll probably keep totin it some more. We sure designed a good one.
I edited this photo to try to bring out the purple color of the hosta shoots that are starting to emerge. This is the variety which has the huge leaves. Every year, I take some root divisions and start them in other places. When they bloom, the hummingbbirds visit.1BB012B4-0D89-4DDB-A152-8C730B037E06.jpeg

I hope you all had a fine Easter, and are being treated to the fine weather we have.

Old reliable #15 B&C (minus the bail and chain, of course  )

This S&M has "Inventory Clean Up" etched on the pile side of the blade -- I imagine that this is something like GEC's "Special Factory Assembly" designation. Seems that S&M's worm groove covers were certainly an inspiration for GEC's "Exotic India Bone." I think the red color makes this one particularly striking...

I've got a new (new to me) Lambfoot coming today. Our mailbox is about a mile from the house and to greet the new Lambfoot, I'll tote this Lambfoot with me. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

A beautiful morning in Santa Cruz. I took my pruner with me. Didn’t prune anything though. I do hope to some gardening though this afternoon. I think I’ll plant my dahlias this week.

Hello unclekurty ,
May I ask what that beautiful pruner is? I cannot read the tang...but I would like to start a search for one of those. Looks ideal! Thanks for sharing!
