Hi G2,

I got one in two days ago. And just returned it. When I opened the sheepsfoot blade and then closed it, it closed right on top of the spey. And sat there right in the middle of the spey. I would have to move the spey against the liner with a fingernail and then close the sheepsfoot and it would still get hung up on the speys side for the last 1 - 2mm of travel down. Also the back springs are gap city for the one I received. Literally between every space a gap from liner to spring to liner to spring and down the row.

Terrible quality coming out of that factory these days it seems. Hope you have a quick service experience and receive a good example as a replacement.

I love my older cases 2018 and earlier especially the case bose and Case brothers and silver script have been flawless.

I agree, it's not like a lesser costing folder, these are all over $120 at least, I was hoping that this would be nice too. And the sheepsfoot did have a ding in the edge where it struck the spey blade as well,

Well, that makes for a dissapointing knife purchase. Just curious were you cutting something when this happened? Applying any kind of side pressure or just unlucky?

Nothing out of the ordinary, I'm thinking the closing down on the spey blade may have been a contributing factor for it's failure
