Thanks Bart.Nice new Waynorth, Todd. I really like the proportions on those better than most lambsfoot knives I see.
That’s perfect, Jeff will get a kick out of that!TC barlow today. I thought of Jeff @Amir Fleschwund when I took this picture. The duck head lives on a gate handle on one of the pasture gates. Not sure where it came from but it’s been there for years.

Thanks for the info, Mitch. Wish her luck for me!Thanks GT.
Lilly is still on her learners permit. Going for her provisional licence next week in school holidays, which allows her to drive solo. She wanted a few driving instructor lessons & had to get her hours up. On learners permit they have to get a 120hrs built up before you can go for your test.
We're always hoping for the way things OUGHT to be!...
I think that might be how it's SUPPOSED to work here!![]()
Thank you kindly Gary![]()

Looking forward to seeing your old fish knife when you get past your current busyness, Jeff! You betcha! As soon as I finish the bathroom remodel ~ by today/tomorrow hopefully~ and get caught up with garden chores, LOL, I will renew my license, and hit the river with my fish knife in my pocket.
Belated "same to you", Paul. Thanks, GT. Have a great day my friend.
Thanks, Bob.Two very nice carries Gary. The ironwood grain is sweet.
Couple of wonderful rehab jobs on those antediluvian knives, Jeff!Same spot as yesterday’s photo, but slightly different weather.View attachment 2155442
Totin a $6 fleamarket score, a 73+ year old Camillus #68 Stockman. It was in a box of mostly junky broken old Boy Scout Imperials and Colonials. Encrusted with old grease and grime, with the bone faded to a weird beige.
My oldest Opinel, bought out of an outdoor supply catalog in the ‘70s. Years later, I dropped it on concrete, and busted the tip off. So it sat in a toolbox, until I came across it much later, and re-ground the blade. Then re-shaped the beechwood.View attachment 2155443

Impressive handful of animals, Paul; really like that round-bolstered Blade Forums moose!
I enjoyed reading info about your favorites, José!Thank you very much Jeff, you know my big problem luckily is choosing what I like best. I think I like them all, even those that are old and don't have a brand, however I love Victorinox, because that's where I started!!!
But..., I always have one that is almost always in my pocket and that is the GEC 73 stag and 440c.![]()
Sounds like a great day, Mike!Had a dentist appointment today. They were happy with what they saw, so I'm happy too
Then I stopped at the Old Brick House Deli and picked up a couple fo Reubens and side salads, which I took over to friends house. He doesn't get around so good any more. We try to do lunch every couple of months or so. Spent 3 hours solving the worlds problems View attachment 2156211
I didn't need to cut anything, but had the venerable 29 with me.

Great story, John!johnnythefox. You did a good thing going back to return the change, and then buying the marmalade when he would not accept the change.probably made his day too. Years ago my Mother and Father were on vacation in England, and saw a older gentleman working in his garden which was full of beautiful flowers. My Father asked if he could take a photo of the gentleman and his flowers. The man agreed if my Father would send him a copy of the photo, so my Father got his address and wrote it down.. After returning to the USA and having the film developed, my Father mailed the man a copy of the photo. Shortly after that he got a nice letter from the man's Daughter who said the photo had greatly pleased her Father, and that he had died shortly there after, and thanking my Father, as that was the last photo she had of her Father. John

Sorry to read the sad news about your cat who's been with you for so long. This pair for today. It's been a hard day and will be a harder morning as we need to put our cat of over 2 decades to sleep. Will be rubbing these bone covers in my pockets.
