Homages to JohnDF JohnDF (king of the post-top knife pic) and bigfish64 bigfish64 (king of posting turtle pics):
Had these in my pocket...

Super photos Tyson and thanks for the coronation! 🐒 πŸ‘‘

We did a quick overnight camping trip at Pinnacles National Park this weekend. It was our first time there and it was pretty neat. I had a few of my trusty camping knives with me.

Beautiful photos Bart, looks like it was a great time with the family. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Snazzy Boker!
These should keep my right thigh from floating off into space.

LOL! Thanks Jer, that's a titanic trio! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
Thanks Jack and likewise ! πŸ‘
Thank you Steve πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
These two for me today. Loving the Lamb and the Case was a bit of a grail chase for me. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘View attachment 2163242
Too cold this morning for a turtle picture but I took this one last week. πŸ˜„View attachment 2163244
Outstanding pair my friend πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Busy with work, playing a lot of cornhole, and just taking a break from the forum... mostly just check and post in the Guardian's thread.
General knife prices, "a certain brand's" availability, and recent quality issues with Case have me a lot less interested in collecting these days.
Hope to see you back in the Guardians thread soon John :)

I have a few knives like that Jeff. They sit trembling...wondering when they will be sent away.

Your formula was quite the hit on some Mahi Mahi. Thanks again for sharing.
Just hoping my son will assume caretaker responsibilities eventually!
Glad you liked it, Bob. I’m that guy with the reading glasses looking at the ingredients in sauces, etc. so I can make it from scratch without the industrial chemicals😜
I was carrying/fiddling with the Club again, then Jeff Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund inspired me to go find an old Pal. I EDC'd this 12OT for a few years before I became a knife slattern.

Slattern. We are all slatterns🀣
The peak of bird migration is underway now. Texas, especially the coastal areas and South Texas, is like an interstate highway for the birds as they move north and spread out into the middle of North America between the western and eastern mountain ranges. We put out sliced oranges for them, which they stop and grab a bite from like us grabbing some Gatorade at the gas station on the highway. Case as usual.

Tell my Orioles that I already have the grape jelly out waiting, but they should hurry. A red finch has been eating it.
Thanks. Its pasture in the hills overlooking the valley. Not quite as exciting as a golf course overlooking the ocean 😁

Thanks, Bob. That was on the bleachers while I was waiting for the Little League game to start.
If it were up to me, all golf courses would revert to pasture.
Took a nice little hike today where there are tons of wildflowers. I won't boor you with all 220 photos I took. About stepped on a copperhead walking out but we both managed to stay calm.

Not bored. Thanks for the views!
My daily combo for quite some time now has been: SAK Classic and Cub Scout knife. I have to force myself to change to others...
I always make sure I have the Cub Scout knife on me whenever I am at any kind of function at all that may need a cap lifter...
Function rules over fancy. πŸ€™

I love that Case sheath knife. It should do for security on your walk, along with the SxS.

Looks like the patience paid off. πŸ€™

That's mostly where I hang out, but haven't been that active lately.
I was going to say I understand until you said we’ve been kicked to the curb for cornhole!

Collecting is overrated. Totin and using is where it’s at.

We'll be leaving in a bit for a visit to the Podiatrist (toe doc) for a nail trim for me. It seems quite a few days a month are reserved for visits to the doctor these days, if not for me for Cindy. Oh well, it gets us out of the house and to the Wagon Wheel Cafe more often. I'll carry "Patch" my slammed in a truck door, cracked and chipped, shield fell out of when the truck door slammed, patched with J-B Weld, Case CV Sod Buster Jr..
