Beautiful photos Bart, looks like it was a great time with the family. We did a quick overnight camping trip at Pinnacles National Park this weekend. It was our first time there and it was pretty neat. I had a few of my trusty camping knives with me.

That's mostly where I hang out, but haven't been that active lately.I was going to tell Ed thatJohnDF has probably been posting Lanbsfeet in your Guardians thread
Busy with work, playing a lot of cornhole, and just taking a break from the forum... mostly just check and post in the Guardian's thread.Where isJohnDF lately anyway?
Hope to see you back in the Guardians thread soon JohnBusy with work, playing a lot of cornhole, and just taking a break from the forum... mostly just check and post in the Guardian's thread.
General knife prices, "a certain brand's" availability, and recent quality issues with Case have me a lot less interested in collecting these days.
Just hoping my son will assume caretaker responsibilities eventually!I have a few knives like that Jeff. They sit trembling...wondering when they will be sent away.
Your formula was quite the hit on some Mahi Mahi. Thanks again for sharing.
Slattern. We are all slatternsI was carrying/fiddling with the Club again, then JeffAmir Fleschwund inspired me to go find an old Pal. I EDC'd this 12OT for a few years before I became a knife slattern.

Tell my Orioles that I already have the grape jelly out waiting, but they should hurry. A red finch has been eating it.The peak of bird migration is underway now. Texas, especially the coastal areas and South Texas, is like an interstate highway for the birds as they move north and spread out into the middle of North America between the western and eastern mountain ranges. We put out sliced oranges for them, which they stop and grab a bite from like us grabbing some Gatorade at the gas station on the highway. Case as usual.

If it were up to me, all golf courses would revert to pasture.Thanks. Its pasture in the hills overlooking the valley. Not quite as exciting as a golf course overlooking the ocean
Thanks, Bob. That was on the bleachers while I was waiting for the Little League game to start.
Not bored. Thanks for the views!Took a nice little hike today where there are tons of wildflowers. I won't boor you with all 220 photos I took. About stepped on a copperhead walking out but we both managed to stay calm.

Function rules over fancy. My daily combo for quite some time now has been: SAK Classic and Cub Scout knife. I have to force myself to change to others...
I always make sure I have the Cub Scout knife on me whenever I am at any kind of function at all that may need a cap lifter...
Whatever it takes to mark your territory, Jer.Snazzy Boker!

I love that Case sheath knife. It should do for security on your walk, along with the SxS.
Looks like the patience paid off. These two for me today. Loving the Lamb and the Case was a bit of a grail chase for me.View attachment 2163242
