What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Awful lot of work just to plant grass. Coulda put in a lot of runner bean, squash, watermelons, sweet corn…😁
There had been a 3 bdrm 2 bath 1500 sq ft house on that lot for over 80yrs until this past January.
The dwelling had become uninhabitable and was even toxic in material and environment.
When demolition was performed, some of the rubble was buried on site with little more than existing soil.
The conditions were not ideal for a lovely nutritious garden.
So I brought in a total of 88 cu ft of soil to level the lot and distance the rubble, glass shards, hazards, remaining pipe, plugged sewer lines and such.
I hope to have a nice SAFE larger level area to exercise my dog with plenty of safe area available for a garden, even raised bed(s) if needed.
Sometimes when ground is not virgin, safe for pets and humans or ideal, the choice is not simply one or the other.
Fencing to commence May 8th after the fresh earth settles a bit and grass should have begun to sprout.

That's always an awesome combination of cool cutters; I really love that you have an edged Guardian of your Lambsfoot, as well!:D

Set aside the Cattle knife when it arrived, for what reason, I don't know. Had it out the other day and realized it needs to be carried.

So today the Cattle and Lamb...

I got one on a drop and sold it fairly soon after. Had immediate sellers remorse and had to replace it on the secondary. The cattle knife is a gem. Glad we both came around.

After hearing of the harassment you’re getting while out walking, bothering noone, I’m wondering if you’ve reconsidered totin that old Fabrique Nationale 12 g. today. Maybe Sicilian style ~ on a sling over your shoulder?

That could work ! ;) 🤣 🤣 🤣 ☠️ At this point, I'm considering consulting a professional. 🤣

Absolutely! Love the stag handles!
Thanks. There is a story about this knife and handle.
At the beginning, an order was placed online and the knife got delivered, but the tip seemed to be not acceptable.

Then I asked the dealer to change another one, after the new one arrived, I noticed the 2 sides of the scale had big differences, one side is more thicker than another.

Asked in BF and got replies it was common for stage horn since it's not easy to find 2 pieces at same thickness to match each other.

But after some days considering, I still decided to go to the shop to try my luck, then drive over 300KM to the physical shop and finally get this one. (I wanted to give as a gift to my friend, but finally I choose another gift and keep this myself)

One question I am still confusing:
some of the stage horn handles are "black" texture (like in the images in this reply), some are "brown" (like the image in my OP one), no idea why and if there is any impact?
