What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I have been collecting knives for ten years now, and in the beginning I had serious FOMO, but now I have slowed down a lot and use a new knife for a couple of months. This one will be in the pocket for awhile. I take a lot of pictures on this stump. Even in the winter the snow melts on it and it stays green for most of the year.

That’s a beauty! 😍

I started to notice a "tiny problem" on my first Laguiole received days ago.
On the scale, the last small pin (on the right-hand side) is not in same horizontal line with the rest 3 small pins on the left.
I know it's handmade, cannot guarantee the exact same horizontal, but after exploring about hundred pictures in this forum and other pictures online, seems the problem on mine is more obvious 🤣

Though technically it's reasonable because of handmade and maybe not a big problem, but as long as it happens on a knife over 200EUR after weeks awaiting, I start to always think about it, I am "in sick"🤣 (am i too picky?)

But I don't think I will send it back or ask FP to replace/repair it, also don't think they will do that.

Anyway, trying to accept it...(all the rests are fairly good)

Not complaint and sorry if this "complaint" bother you guys😳

Thanks BF and this post that I can have a place to speak it out.

It’s ok, the pyramids of Giza are not in a straight line either…look how much they’re worth!!! 🤣 🤣

Your post let me remember that on my own (FP Laguiole Le Pocket) which I‘ve got a couple of years ago has the same “issue“ that not all 5 pins of the cross are exactly in line. Personally I like the knife as it is and at that time I decided that it’s ok for me and still is.

I know that it's Stagurday, and that's one that I usually participate in. However.... this work of art just got delivered! Man, this one was a long search, but worth it in every way. Hope y'all have a great weekend.

Clip TC winner! Let’s just call that one “Tyler’s Choice”!

Thanks for the compliments on the 85. I’ve enjoyed it!
