Like the dickens?
I've been giving my florist quite a bit of carry of late. Light weight in the pocket, good grip for an arthritic octogenarian, and like said, it cuts like the dickens. Plus I just love the single sheep foot blade. Kinda old timey.

Hope everyone had a great Monday.
I’d never realized that y’all chose to delete the spay on that one like we did on the Buck Forum knife. A lot of porchsters don’t like speys for some reason…
Maybe too anatomical?
That’s a nice knife!
Thanks, Todd. The jigging on that came out really cool. At first glance I thought it was a vintage knife you had picked up. Nice work. Thanks, yes it was. In my opinion, it had particular ugly stag with no redeeming features at all. So I sanded it a little and then jigged it. The other side turned out better because there was more material to work with, but the color isn’t as interesting. View attachment 2171109
Sweet nice Bart and a very cool project.

Thanks, Jeff. You should do it. I just put a 1/4 in bolt in the chuck on the lathe and a couple of tapered plastic pieces I made that hold a bead or a ring when I tighten on the nut.Very cool. I should try that. My daughter loves beads.
Wow! Awesome pair, Harry. These 2 Lambfoots today : The white one is sometimes carried , but never used .

As good as it getsI received this package from the City by the Bay today—a beautiful 47 Viper in Ironwood. My first thoughts on the Viper were that it’s bigger than expected, but the weight, size, and thin Wharncliffe blade have all the hallmarks of a great knife. My primary users are around this size, so the Viper fits right in, and these Ironwood covers are stunning.
Thank you,sf fanatic , once again for the opportunity at one of my most wanted knives.

A fine-looking May Day pairing my friend
Congrats to your daughter Jon. I do hope she returns it one day.Nothing like an elementary school track meet, especially when your daughter DOMINATES!
She crushed the literal mile by a figurative mile. Having knives of course is essential for speed.

That's a factA lot of us don't have much use for a spey blade. Removing it removes bulk from the knife to make it more pocket friendly than a full-on stockman of similar length. This is especially true of this particular knife. It disappears in the pocket.
It's good therapy for me to deal with the distress of its very slightly bent tip.
This month: Orava/Ekorre/Redsquirrel
