Yes indeed!Well, I guess there's more than one way for an experience to be unforgettable, Jack!![]()
LOL!When I was 5 years old, my grandfather sold his dairy farm to my Dad, and we "switched houses" as part of the deal. I have a clear memory of pulling my little red wagon, loaded with our refrigerator, across the orchard/pasture from one house to the other. Can't possibly have happened, though.![]()
Stunning pair
That is pretty darn cool Paul, nice picTwo favorites today. This Boker is so awesome. M4 Sherman damascus. Does it get cooler then that? The beautiful '19 lamb to accompany it today.

If I get an honorarium for yesterday's funeral, I know just what I'll buy.Varusteleka
I bet! I only went in tanks as a boy at the military shows, which were more common thenTwo fine ones Paul.
To ride in a Sherman was no fun. Early on, some of the left overs were used for training. Once was enough.
They're great knives Jer, and nice people to deal with too. I've had a bunch of stuff from them. I get charged tax on all overseas purchases now thoughIf I get an honorarium for yesterday's funeral, I know just what I'll buy.

We came home about 1:30 this afternoon to find Coco at the bottom of the back porch steps laying on the sidewalk. Her haunches being what they are, she could barely get up and couldn't stand for more than a few seconds. I told Cindy; "that's it, I'm calling the vet. The vet took us in right away and we had her put Coco down. No more pain or suffering. She was looking Cindy and I in our eyes as she passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure you guys/gals/youngsters won't mind if I don't include a picture of a knife in this post.

He joined a cavalry regiment as a teenager, a few years before the war. He was in a load of major tank battles, had a hard war, but made it through. He wasn't much bigger than about 5ft 3", which helped him crawl out of 3 destroyed tanks. A very quiet man, who preferred just to be called BillYour grand uncle must have been an amazing man. I was a medic and usually rode in an ambulance. I made the mistake of asking for a ride.![]()
HmmmA fine way to determine Britain's destiny!
