We came home about 1:30 this afternoon to find Coco at the bottom of the back porch steps laying on the sidewalk. Her haunches being what they are, she could barely get up and couldn't stand for more than a few seconds. I told Cindy; "that's it, I'm calling the vet. The vet took us in right away and we had her put Coco down. No more pain or suffering. She was looking Cindy and I in our eyes as she passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure you guys/gals/youngsters won't mind if I don't include a picture of a knife in this post.

I don't know how I missed this, Ed. I'm so sorry to hear of Coco's demise. I've been where you are a few times in my life, having to say goodbye to a trusted and loved canine companion. I feel your pain. Take care of yourself!

Agree 100%.
I found a nice leather sheath (Hide & Drink) on the big jungle site that fits the Finn Bear and my Mora Number 1. I loathe/detest/hate the factory plastic Mora Sheath, (even if unlike the CS plastic sheath it does NOT dull the blade when the knife is taken in/out) so the Mora is residing in the leather sheath.
I'm not sure, but I think the plastic Mora sheath went into the dumpster then to the dump, where IMHO, it belongs/belonged.
Tho to be honest. I may have cut off the belt loop for when the Mora does duty as my Sgian Dubh. More comfy in the sock thattaway.

I managed to get a couple of sheaths for my Moras a few years back, from a UK retailer. They fit OK, even have a fire-steel loop, and a dangler, but they make for a bulkier package. The one I got recently is just a simple leather sheath, and fits my Manly Patriot too. I'll probably buy a couple more I have some old Moras from the early 90's, and the plastic sheaths then were even worse!

No, I had the stained bone inserts on one of my Tribal Locks replaced and the blade centered and the locking system lightened.

She is well loved, and the edge angles are 10DPS with no "micro bevel".
