You lucky fellers, 'Jack' was an old codger's name when I was a kid!I think we’re faiely close in age. When we were kids, David was the #1 boys name. There seemed to be at leadt two in class all the time. Gary is a good name. Manly.

That's just great Jon. We should all take a cue from her and appreciate the simple things in life.Shorts on. Perfect 14 kind of day.

My little girl turns 10 tomorrow. She is very hard to buy a gift for. All she wants is food.. The only toys she likes are piles of sticks she collects from the woods. She will give away all kinds of stuff to other kids and her siblings, but she will get irate if her brothers steal one of her prized sticks. I love it.
She is also in a “why” phase. She will “why” me to death. Question after question.
So I found her a “Y” stick for her birthday. She’s easy on my wallet.

LOL! I've got a few years on you, Jeff. I figure I've lived with Gary this long, might's well stick it out!I think we’re faiely close in age. When we were kids, David was the #1 boys name. There seemed to be at leadt two in class all the time. Gary is a good name. Manly.
But we could call you Dave if you’d like…
LOL! I once got my posts mixed up, (certainly not the only time), and called CharlieLOL! I've got a few years on you, Jeff. I figure I've lived with Gary this long, might's well stick it out!
If you called me Dave, I'd be like Cheech and Chong, "Dave's not here, man!"
I was told the same thing! This was driving in the hills in western Pennsylvania, AND I was wearing a Davy Crockett coon skin cap!As a child I was always told Falling Rocks was a Native American ghost that would get me if I wasn’t quiet in the back seat. I was probably wearing my Davey Crockett raccoon hat. I also remember no seat belts and my folks smoking up a storm with the windows rolled up.
I had to pick at least one black one too.View attachment 2220888View attachment 2220890
Have my new garden knife too ~ it did the job on getting spinach, lettuce, and arugula for last night’s salad. View attachment 2220889
It’s hanging in a big fennel plant that came back strong this spring. I think it’s a nice looking plant.View attachment 2220891
