That's impressive! I sometimes have trouble opening mine with two hands.

Seriously! Pete, you wouldn't be able to video that so I can learn, too?

So I don't get too far off the thread topic here is a link with some photos of me doing it, it's post #10

Hope this helps, I have pretty strong & coordinated hands, I play many different instruments & have always had jobs that I worked with my hands, last job was tin knocking lots of cutting sheetmetal with snips, cutting 26g & 24g S-slip ( folded over itself to form a S, 3 layers at once) by hand takes some force.

RIP little old timer:( I lost the old timer on a backpacking trip a few days ago. It was my first Old Timer amd I really liked it. I have not lost a knife sense ...........I can't remember the last time I lost a knife...well until this one. This is the last known picture.

I have lost several of my favorite knives... I feel your pain but then again it is a darn good excuse to get a new knife! :D

Today it's one of my MERCATOR knives in a "not so tactical" outfit... i call it my "zebra" :)

Without the bail it's extreme slim and fits into the smallest pocket!

My only stainless GEC, which doesn't get as much pocket time as it deserves, and the very nice piece of stag I got from Charlie :D

what is the model number of that stag? I don´t know much about GEC
thanks

This is #74, the same frame used for our 2012 forum knife. The other major difference apart from the usual Northfield treatment (polished, grooved bolsters) are the sabre ground blades.

I feel your pain. I recently found that I had a hole in my pocket. By the time I figured it out my 8OT was long gone.
Hopefully whomever finds our knives appreciates them as much as we miss them.
