Your carbon blade doesn't look like it's sweating a little rain. (I live in the desert here, and had a CV blade I was testing get some gold coloration, I dunno if that's part of what it's supposed to do or not, lol.) I have had a Barlow for a long time, but since it was my grandfathers, I sort of do, and don't like them. I haven't given em' a chance since I started here in traditionals. Yours looks great though.

Chad, thank you for the compliment. I have found my knife---pretty bold statement because usually us knife nuts are always on the lookout for "thee" knife---which in my case was a never ending quest :o

Well, I've stopped searching---oh I still look and always will I'm sure but if I never owned another traditional I'd be content with this one in my pocket until I pass

Again, congrats on the fine Texas Jack gifted from Duane.

Feels like no effort to return the compliment Paul, that ebony is pure class:)

Nothing traditional from me today, sorry I'm on 'the other side...'

Today I am carrying the rotten banana bone 66 jack again.

Morning!

Set to cleaning up my work Bullnose today...

Before

After some blade reprofiling and 10 minutes with some 600 grit on the handle

Ready for work on Monday but for the weekend....

Sam

This is a recent arrival so it's getting a weeks unhindered pocket time just to see how it fits in

One of my favorites that has been neglected lately.

Great job Sam

I just took this shot of my Charlow. It is too bright already to really get the bolster with no glare. Its one of my favorite things about this knife, I love the fact that it patinas along with the blade.

Got this Aitor Castor Pequena from ScruffUK yesterday :)

Partnered up today with my 1951 Belgian clasp knife.
