Just realized that in a frenzy of newfound knife-lust, I forgot to return the favor. It's a David Kelley, Lil' Bit is the model I believe. It's simultaneously one of the smallest, and one of the the thickest knives I own. An odd combo - especially for me, but it cuts quite well, and I do use it for prying regularly. Thanks for compliment on the Schatt, I saw the jigging and translucency and had to have itI’ll be happy to talk your ear off about the fixed blade, but I’m gonna need the details on yours, too. Beautiful bone on the Schatt.![]()
What a coincidence! Just bought this last week in a second hand store, the Danish title translated back to English again is: Up in the blue. What a tragic story. Gonna start it this next week.I'm enjoying INTO THIN AIR.

Thank you for your kind words, Jack!!! Yes, that is my more recent find that is apparently made from a1930s blade batch. Many thanks my friend, I have very much enjoyed seeing your French acquisitions these past few months, they have great style, and I love to see patterns I am, largely, unfamiliar withI don't recall seeing the top knife before JJ, is it another new one?

Nice quiver of knives you have for your trip.Second leg of family vacation, we made it to my Uncle’s outside of Winthrop WA last night. Great drive from Spokane, rolling farmland to twisty mountain roads along the Columbia then Methow rivers. Pretty decent view from the back yard. View attachment 2222646

I love the way they are using that old stock in France JJ, even today there must be thousands of old blades knocking about in Sheffield - a lot of Joseph Rodgers old stock ended up in the River Sheaf!Thank you for your kind words, Jack!!!
