Handsome knife :) :thumbsup:
Muchas gracias mi amigo!!! :) :thumbsup:
It looks like you had a great day at the market! :cool: :thumbsup:

I had these two warfighters with me.
It was a good one thanks JJ, a little sunshine makes a lot of difference :) Those two old warhorses make for a great pairing my friend :cool: :thumbsup:

Have a nice day :)
Is that a new Lambsfoot (I can't keep up lately)?! :cool: :thumbsup:

Like a lot of my fellow Guardians, my choice of knives this week has been influenced by the sad news about about our brother cigarrodog cigarrodog , and today I'm carrying an old Alfred Blackwell that was gifted me a few years back by rockman0 rockman0 :thumbsup:

Pairing it with one of Eric's Jacks, gifted to me by my friend btb01 btb01 :) :thumbsup:

There's a gentle rain out there! Probably more already than we've had in months.
Rain, blessed rain.
We got .85” during the night. What a pleasure walking in the soft grass.
I saw the radar on Sunday morning, and hurried to take the dog out before the morning front moved through. But then we got nothing from it. But Sunday afternoon a brief but intense storm came through with almost a quarter inch of rain, and intermittent showers on Monday produced almost 0.4" more. So our June precipitation is within 3" of average to date.

So many nice knives posted by you all🤙

Have a fine Sunday!🙂
Jeff, when I see photos of your green stockman with the big pictorial shield, I often mistake it for a second as one of those GEC 88 sowbellies with the alligator shield. o_O :rolleyes:

Some old bones for Sunday 👍

Look at "dem bones"! Beauties! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I'm very glad that you like the knives I sent. I too like the Half Hawk. Enjoy.
:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Resting up today. Between Cindy and I, we had seven doctors or dentists appointments this past week. Happily, no rubber gloves were used during these visits. NASCAR this afternoon. A single blade Sowbelly seems appropriate for today's carry.

That's a lot of time in the hands of health care professionals! You both should be good for another 6 months or 6000 miles, I hope. 🤓

The ol' Schrade helped-out in the yard today!

I like your 136. I think it’s in a little better shape than mine, and you got a super piece of black walnut!

The 136 and it’s sister pattern, the 163 are hard to beat for hard use.View attachment 2231292

Ben and Jeff, your knives have wondrous wood! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Love the black knife and matching dog! :cool::cool::thumbsup: (Pup looks like a couple we used to have - toy poodle?)

Jiki and FBC, I admire the chains you guys whittled! :thumbsup::cool:🤓

Wishing everyone a good week :) Starting mine with my Albers Lamb, and a knife gifted to me by @JohnDF , hoping that if I rub it a few times, he'll appear here :) :thumbsup:

Looks like your magic worked, Jack! I saw a couple of posts from John DF recently. :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Classy canoe! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

… as I have expressed before, I am really taken with this Eisenhower penknife (06263; ‘65-‘69).
So much so that I fished a second one out of the ‘Bay (an unplanned acquisition) … note the mis-strike that occurred when attempting to set the pin closest to the right bolster … that little flaw allowed me to pick up this NOS example for a song … unused, unsharpened, and snappy as a little gator … !

Congrats on your new Eisenhower - I Like Ike! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

In a word, outstanding. My collection of Rosecrafts is now up to four, as I just added this Loosahatchie Jack and a Clinch River Swayback to my Holston River Surgeon's Knife and Appalachian Jack. If I'm forced to nitpick, the Appalachian Jack has a rough spot on the inside of the spring that you need a flashlight and a magnifying glass to really see but for the price, it's fine and the Surgeon's Knife has a weaker pull than I prefer but it's a smaller knife and still very snappy. They're all gap free, no proud tips, perfect transitions from cover to bolsters, all steel construction, fine grinds, acceptably sharp out of the box, nicely packaged, no slop or play in any direction -- I think you can see where I'm going.

I wish they were made in the USA, but all four of mine are phenomenal and, in my opinion, quite a cut above B&S and RR.

If you are interested in a particular area I didn't cover above, ask away!
Thanks for your comments on your Rosecraft knives. :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: I've heard of those knives, but know very little about them.

Congrats on your new pair of whittlers! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Really enjoying the 88 lately…Had it cooped up since it got it but finally carrying it. I honestly think it’s got the best ironwood covers of any GEC I have View attachment 2232305
Impressive ironwood! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
The GEC 88 seems like a splendid pattern.

My wife has been traveling on and off for work the last couple of weeks and I haven’t had much time to spend on the forum.
Welcome back, Bart! :)

For my non eventful Tuesday.( I hope).View attachment 2232535
Cool Pocket-Eze pen knife, Bob! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
And I wasn't even aware of the existence of those Titusville lambsfoot models, but suddenly they're popping up here! BF is where the action is. ;)

But how are we doing on annual average precipitation?😁
At least it won't be death-dry for the fireworks.
