Nice shot! I picked up the ironwood on release, but I'm thinking I should have gone with that mint green bone.Pool and poker today. Starting with this one (three days in a row!). May change it out later. Maybe not

Thanks Gary....we are the hippest kids in town. Enjoy your holiday.I saw the radar on Sunday morning, and hurried to take the dog out before the morning front moved through. But then we got nothing from it. But Sunday afternoon a brief but intense storm came through with almost a quarter inch of rain, and intermittent showers on Monday produced almost 0.4" more. So our June precipitation is within 3" of average to date.
Jeff, when I see photos of your green stockman with the big pictorial shield, I often mistake it for a second as one of those GEC 88 sowbellies with the alligator shield.![]()
Look at "dem bones"! Beauties!
That's a lot of time in the hands of health care professionals! You both should be good for another 6 months or 6000 miles, I hope.
Ben and Jeff, your knives have wondrous wood!
Love the black knife and matching dog!(Pup looks like a couple we used to have - toy poodle?)
Jiki and FBC, I admire the chains you guys whittled!

Thanks for your comments on your Rosecraft knives.I've heard of those knives, but know very little about them.

Congrats on your new pair of whittlers!
Impressive ironwood!
The GEC 88 seems like a splendid pattern.
Welcome back, Bart!
Cool Pocket-Eze pen knife, Bob!
And I wasn't even aware of the existence of those Titusville lambsfoot models, but suddenly they're popping up here! BF is where the action is.

If I wasn’t in a Long Term Relationship with a Wenger Esquire, which is on my spare car and house key ring in my left pocket, I’d look at that!Have a look at pairing your harvrster with a minichamp I do. With a little caribeneer clips in pocket easy. I do prefer the thickness over the classic.

Better safe than sorry
Knowing my luck, Jack would be okay & I'd get hurt. It's happened to me before.
Nice pics mate.
Nice pair! Who made the cattle knife? It looks very much like one of my High Carbon cattles that Camillus made for Sears.
I feel the same about several patterns, the ‘Buster being right up there. There are plenty more expensive knives, and most are better looking, but few are functionaly superior.

It’s ok, Todd. We like seeing them, too.
Coyotes are devious. They lure dogs away to where the rest of the pack is waiting. Thanks, Todd. It was nice to get away for a few days but I’m back home now. I traded 70 degrees and afternoon thunderstorms in the mountains for 100 days in the valley
Nice “discovery”, Bob. I want to know where you’re looking (slightly before you look there)
It’s funny you say that. Last week I was out irrigating and had both of my dogs with me. There were two juvenile coyotes in the pasture. They came within about 15 feet of us before my dogs noticed. Then all four of them took off running around the field. When they got kinda far away I whistled and my dogs came back. I don’t really want my dogs to chase other animals, but this seemed more like they were just playing around.
Our rainfall turned out to be closer to 1.25” last week. I might mow today.I saw the radar on Sunday morning, and hurried to take the dog out before the morning front moved through. But then we got nothing from it. But Sunday afternoon a brief but intense storm came through with almost a quarter inch of rain, and intermittent showers on Monday produced almost 0.4" more.
