So busy replying to lucky22 that i forgot to put what i was carrying today, well as you ask, today i am carrying my #06 Pemberton, it is for my needs about perfect, so i have gone ahead and ordered a Stag version as a back up to the Autumn jig bone one i already have...

Away for a little less than a week and I return to 13 unread pages in this thread!

This is a real beauty Jason, love seeing it! I had to take a quick detour through Belmont Saturday afternoon when a wreck turned I-85 westbound into a parking lot. Was so strange getting back on the interstate and having four lanes completely to ourselves, not a car to be seen behind us!

No surprise that nearly every day that I have been away the chestnut bone peanut has been in my pocket. Switching up a bit today, and carrying the 32087 pen.

The #92 that I can't seem to put down:

But this one will probably see a fair bit of use today as well:

This wonderful SBJ I got from my wife for our anniversary...

I really like everything on this knife - the blades, the pulls, the bone, the shape....

Case seems to really do the Chestnut bone line right, that's a fine example Andi

Never seem to hear of any complaints on the Chestnut bone Case knives, as far as F&F and play.

It's a nice one Andi, can't wit to see it as it becomes pocket worn

Thanks, Ed. It's a knife I picked up a long time ago from a maker in Argentina. There's a little backstory and a few more pics here (bottom of the pg):

As I mentioned in that thread, I have no idea what the steel is, other than the maker telling me it came from a "leaf spring." But there's a lot of old Detroit steel that ended up in Argentina, and I have to wonder if I'm holding part of a re-purposed Chrysler. :D Whatever it is, it takes a wicked edge.

That's probably the best looking Chrysler I've ever seen.

I'll have to read up on it some, but it sure looks like it'd be a fine kitchen knife as well as it's original purposes in Argentina.

This one just arrived from Old Hundred, making my third Saddle Trapper. The Coffeehouse Acrylic is beautiful! Thanks, Bob!

Nice, Jeff. That is one GEC pattern that I don't have, and I can't understand why not. And while I'm not always crazy about acrylics, that 'coffeehouse' is stunning.
